What is Skill?
Skills are abilities that are unique to each characters and used to draw a card, increase Life Points, and so on in a duel. Most of skills is activated only under a certain condition.
How to set skill
You can bring only 1 skill with your deck into a duel but can switch the one to the other in the deck setting menu. Note that you have to set a skill to a deck and achieve the trigger condition to use it.

Visit Card Studio (a facility in a screenshot above).

Move to Deck Edit screen.

Tap Skill tab that is located above your deck.

Choose a skill you want to use.
How to get skills
Level-up
One of the ways to obtain skills is leveling characters up. Each character can acquire up to three skills by reaching level 4, 13, 20 with except of Joey who gets his first skill at level 3 .
Duel reward
You can also get skills by winning a duel against Legend Duelists. What skill you find is associated with which character you use. If you find a skill that you already have again, it will be converted into gems. Some of reward skills, such as LP Boost skills and Draw Sense skills, are obtainable in common with some characters.
Card of Sanctity Can be used at the end of your turn, if you Normal Summoned "Slifer the Sky Dragon" that turn. Both players draw until they have 6 cards in their hand.

Divine Advent At the beginning of turn 5 and onward, play "Obelisk, the Tormentor," "Slifer the Sky Dragon," "The Winged Dragon of Ra" on your side of the field.The Skill can only be used once per Duel.
Legendary Warrior Can be Used if your Life Points are at 1000 or below. Play "Gilford the Lightning" to your side on the field. This skill can only be used once per Duel.
Exchange of the Spirit When Ishizu has 10 or more cards in her graveyard, both players have to switch their Deck and Graveyard with each other's at the beginning of the turn, and then shuffle the deck. This Skill can only be used once per duel.

Blast Held by a Tribute Begin Duel with the Trap Card "Blast Held By a Tribute" set in your Spell/Trap Card Zone.
Divine Fusion Play 1 "The Winged Dragon of Ra" from your graveyard. Then, pay your Life Points so that only have 1 Life Point left. The ATK/DEF of that "The Winged Dragon of Ra" will be equal to the amount of Life Points paid. That " The Winged Dragon of Ra" will sent to the graveyard at the end of this turn this Skill was used. This Skill can only be used once per turn.

Blessing of the Sun If the effect of "The Winged Dragon of Ra", "You can pay 1000 LP, target 1 monster on the field, destroy that target." was used, gain 2000 Life Points at the end of the turn.

Chosen by the Gods Can be used each time your Life Points decreased by 1800. In the Draw Phase, instead of doing a normal draw, draw a random DIVINE Monster.

Disciplines of the Divine If your Deck contains "Ra's Disciple," 1 "Ra's Disciple" will be included in your starting hand. After this, the rest of your "Ra's Dicisple" will be placed at the bottom of your Deck.
Dark Camo DARK-attribute Monsters you have Normal Summoned, Special Summoned, or Flip Summoned become invisible to the opponent until end of their turn.

Dark Camo Activates when the combined total of monsters sent to the Gravards of both players reaches 10. Opponent becomes unable to see your Life Points or their own untile the end of the Duel.
Sea Stealth Activates if "Umi" is on your field. Monsters you have Normal Summoned, Special Summoned, or Flip Summoned become invisible to the opponent until end of their turn. If "Umi" leaves your field, all monsters become visible.

Sorcery Conduit Can be used each time your Life Points decrase by 1800. In the Draw Phase, instead of doing a normal draw, draw a random Spellcaster-Type monster.

Destiny Draw Can be used each time your Life Points decrease by 2000. In the Draw Phase, instead of doing a normal draw, draw the card of your choice.
Beatdown! Boosts the ATK of face-up attack position monsters you control by 300 per level 5 or more monsters you control. You can only use the skill once per turn.

Draw Sense: High Level Can be used each time your Life Points decrase by 1800. In the Draw Phase, instead of doing a normal draw, draw a random level 7 or more monster.

Heavy Starter If your Deck has 3 or more Level 5 or higher monsters with different names, you will have improved chance of having a Level 5 or higher monster in your starting hand..
LP Boost α Increases starting Life Points by 1000.
Lv3
Grit The skill is activated randomly when your turn starts. Your Life Points does not get decreased to less than 1 until your opponent's next turn ends.

Reinforcement Can be used each time your Life Points decrease by 1800. In the Draw Phase, instead of doing a normal draw, draw a random Warrior-Type monster.
Lv20
Roll 'n' Boost Can be used each time your Life Points decrease by 2000. Show 1 monster card in your hand to the opponent and roll the die once. The Level of the monster shown becomes that of the die number untile the end of the turn.
Drop
Last Gamble Can be used in your Main Phase, starting from the fifth turn. Upon activation, reduces your LP to 100 and discards 2 cards from your hand. You roll a die and draw that number of cards. This skill can only be used once per Duel.

Luck on Your Side If your Life Points drop below 1000, your coin tosses always land on heads.
Holy Guard You receive no battle damage during your turn.

LP Boost γ Increases starting Life Points by 2500, reduces hand by 2 cards.
Lv13
Life Cost 0 You can use the skill when your Life Points are 1000 or less. You do not have to spend Life Points to activate a card until your opponent's next turn ends. You can only use the skill once per Duel.
Lv20
Surprise Present Select 1 card Set in your Spell & Trap Zone, and force it on your opponent. Only the player that activates this skill can view this card. This skill can only be used once per Duel.
Drop
Duel, standby! Gives 1 more card in each player's starting hand.
Aroma Strategy You can see the card at the top of your deck even before drawing it.

LP Boost β Increases starting Life Points by 1500, reduces hand by 1 card.

Draw Sense: WIND Can be used each time your Life Points decrase by 1500. In the Draw Phase, instead of doing a normal draw, draw a random Wind-Attribute monster.
Flight of the Harpies Can be used each time your Life points decrease by 1800. In the Draw Phase, instead of doing a normal draw, draw a random "Harpie" card.
Bewitching Dance At the end of a Damage Step in which a "Harpie" or "Amazoness" monster attacked, the battle position of the Defense Position monster it attacked changes to face-up Attack Position.
Insect Uprising You can use the skill when you control 3 or more Insect-type monsters. Decreases the ATK of face-up attack position monsters your opponent controls by 800. You can only use the skill once per turn.

Draw Sense: Low Level Can be used each time your Life Points decrease by 1800. In the Draw Phase, istead of doing a normal draw, draw a level 1-4 monster card.
Draw Sense: High Level Can be used each time your Life Points decrease by 1800. In the Draw Phase, instead of doing a normal draw, draw a random level 5 or more monster

Dino Destruction Can be used if a Level 6 Dinosaur-Type monster is on your field. If that monster attacks a monster in a Defense Positin this turn, the opponent takes battle damage equal to the amount that ATK exceeds DEF. This skill can only be used once per turn.

Titan Showdown Whichever player has doulbe or more LP than the other takes double battle damage.

Dinos Find a Way Can be used each time your Life Points decrease by 1800. In the Draw Phase, instead of doing a normal draw, draw a random Dinosaur-Type monster.
Drop
Dino Rampage Can be used each time your Life Points decrease by 1800, and you have a Dinosaur-Type normal monster on your field. That monster can attack twice during the Battle Phase, this turn. This skill can only be used once per turn.
