Skill in Duel Links

What is Skill?

Skills are abilities that are unique to each characters and used to draw a card, increase Life Points, and so on in a duel. Most of skills is activated only under a certain condition.

How to set skill

You can bring only 1 skill with your deck into a duel but can switch the one to the other in the deck setting menu. Note that you have to set a skill to a deck and achieve the trigger condition to use it.

#Procedure
1Visit Card Studio (a facility in a screenshot above).
2Move to Deck Edit screen.
3Tap Skill tab that is located above your deck.
4Choose a skill you want to use.

How to get skills

Level-up

One of the ways to obtain skills is leveling characters up. Each character can acquire up to three skills by reaching level 4, 13, 20 with except of Joey who gets his first skill at level 3 .

Duel reward

You can also get skills by winning a duel against Legend Duelists. What skill you find is associated with which character you use. If you find a skill that you already have again, it will be converted into gems. Some of reward skills, such as LP Boost skills and Draw Sense skills, are obtainable in common with some characters.

Mako Tsunami

Sea Stealth
Activates if "Umi" is on your field. Monsters you have Normal Summoned, Special Summoned, or Flip Summoned become invisible to the opponent until end of their turn. If "Umi" leaves your field, all monsters become visible.

Yami Marik

[Skill] descriptionUser
Divine Fusion
Play 1 "The Winged Dragon of Ra" from your graveyard. Then, pay your Life Points so that only have 1 Life Point left. The ATK/DEF of that "The Winged Dragon of Ra" will be equal to the amount of Life Points paid. That " The Winged Dragon of Ra" will sent to the graveyard at the end of this turn this Skill was used. This Skill can only be used once per turn.

Blessing of the Sun
If the effect of "The Winged Dragon of Ra", "You can pay 1000 LP, target 1 monster on the field, destroy that target." was used, gain 2000 Life Points at the end of the turn.

Chosen by the Gods
Can be used each time your Life Points decreased by 1800. In the Draw Phase, instead of doing a normal draw, draw a random DIVINE Monster.

Disciplines of the Divine
If your Deck contains "Ra's Disciple," 1 "Ra's Disciple" will be included in your starting hand. After this, the rest of your "Ra's Dicisple" will be placed at the bottom of your Deck.

Dark Camo
Activates when the combined total of monsters sent to the Gravards of both players reaches 10. Opponent becomes unable to see your Life Points or their own untile the end of the Duel.

Can be used each time your Life Points decrease by 1800. In the Draw Phase, instead of doing a normal draw, draw a random Spell/Trap card.

Sorcery Conduit
Can be used each time your Life Points decrase by 1800. In the Draw Phase, instead of doing a normal draw, draw a random Spellcaster-Type monster.

Destiny Draw
Can be used when your Life Points decrease by 2000. In the Draw Phase, instead of conducting your normal draw, draw a card of your choice. This Skill can only be used one per Duel.

Spell Speciallist
If your Deck contains 5 or more Spell Cards with different names, you will have improved chances of having a Spell Card in your starting hand.

Card of Sanctity
Can be used at the end of your turn, if you Normal Summoned "Slifer the Sky Dragon" that turn. Both players draw until they have 6 cards in their hand.

Increases starting Life Points by 1000.

Grit
The skill is activated randomly when your turn starts. Your Life Points does not get decreased to less than 1 until your opponent's next turn ends.

Reinforcement
Can be used each time your Life Points decrease by 1800. In the Draw Phase, instead of doing a normal draw, draw a random Warrior-Type monster.

Roll 'n' Boost
Can be used each time your Life Points decrease by 2000. Show 1 monster card in your hand to the opponent and roll the die once. The Level of the monster shown becomes that of the die number untile the end of the turn.

Last Gamble
Can be used in your Main Phase, starting from the fifth turn. Upon activation, reduces your LP to 100 and discards 2 cards from your hand. You roll a die and draw that number of cards. This skill can only be used once per Duel.

Luck on Your Side
If your Life Points drop below 1000, your coin tosses always land on heads.

Can be used by banishing 5 "Harpie" cards from your graveyard. Add 1 Harpie's Feather Duster to your hand from outside of your Deck. This Skill can only be used once per Duel.

Can be used each time your Life points decrease by 1800. In the Draw Phase, instead of doing a normal draw, draw a random "Harpie" card.

Surprise Present
Select 1 card Set in your Spell & Trap Zone, and force it on your opponent. Only the player that activates this skill can view this card. This skill can only be used once per Duel.

Duel, standby!
Each player's starting hand increases by 1 card. You cannot activate Spell/Trap Cards or monster effects on your first turn.

The Tie that Binds
Until the end of you turn, the ATK of all face-up monsters on your field increases by the number of monsters on your field times 100. This skill can only be used once per turn.

Restart
Can be used after starting hand is distributed. Shuffle all the cards from your hand into the Deck. Then draw the starting hand again.

Access denied
Can be used if your LP drops below 1000. Until the end of your opponent's next turn, neither you or your opponent can normal summon or special summon effect monsters, or activate monsters effects. This skill can be used once per duel.

If your Deck contains 6 or more Level 4 or below Monster Cards with different names, you will have improved chances of having a Level 4 Monster Card in your starting hand.

Silent Duelist
Can be used each time your Life Points decrease by 1800. Return 1 card from your hand to your Deck, and play "Silent Magician LV 4" from your Deck. This Skill can only be used once per turn.

Insect Uprising
You can use the skill when you control 3 or more Insect-type monsters. Decreases the ATK of face-up attack position monsters your opponent controls by 800. You can only use the skill once per turn.

Can be used each time your Life Points decrease by 1800. In the Draw Phase, istead of doing a normal draw, draw a level 1-4 monster card.

Parasite Infestation
After starting hands are dealt, 1 or 2 "Parasite Paracide" cards are added to your opponent's deck face up.

Buzz On
Can be used each time your Life Points derease by 1800. In the Draw Phase, instead of doing a normal draw, draw a random Insect-Type monster.

Moth to the Flame
Turn counts are double-speed for any "Petit Moth" with "Cocoon of Evolution" equipped on your side of the field.

Begin duel with the field spell "Jurassic World" activated.

Draw Sense: High Level
Can be used each time your Life Points decrease by 1800. In the Draw Phase, instead of doing a normal draw, draw a random level 5 or more monster

Dino Destruction
Can be used if a Level 6 Dinosaur-Type monster is on your field. If that monster attacks a monster in a Defense Positin this turn, the opponent takes battle damage equal to the amount that ATK exceeds DEF. This skill can only be used once per turn.

Titan Showdown
Whichever player has doulbe or more LP than the other takes double battle damage.

Dinos Find a Way
Can be used each time your Life Points decrease by 1800. In the Draw Phase, instead of doing a normal draw, draw a random Dinosaur-Type monster.

Dino Rampage
Can be used each time your Life Points decrease by 1800, and you have a Dinosaur-Type normal monster on your field. That monster can attack twice during the Battle Phase, this turn. This skill can only be used once per turn.

Can be used each time your Life Points decrase by 1500. In the Draw Phase, instead of doing a normal draw, draw a random Water-Attribute monster.

Balance
Your starting hand will reflect the card balance of your deck.
Lv20
Menace from the Deep
Can be used if "Umi" is on the field, and you have a Water-attribute normal monster on your field. That monster can attack your opponent directly. this turn. At the end of the Battle Phase, that monster is sent to the Graveyard. This skill can only be used once per turn.

Can be used each time your Life Points decrase by 1500. In the Draw Phase, instead of doing a normal draw, draw a random DARK attribute monster.

Right Back at You
Can be used in the Main Phase of your next turn following the turn in which you took battle damage. Select 1 face-up monster on your field. This turn, the selected monster's ATK increases by half of the battle damage received in the turn you last took battle damage. This skill can only be used once per turn.

Shadow Game
At the end of their respective turn, each player will lose LP equal to "100" times the number of cards in their own graveyard.

Power of the Tributed
When you sucessfully Tributed Summon "The Winged of Ra", its ATK will becomes the sum of the ATK of the Tirbuted Monsters, and its DEF will becomes the sum of the Tributed Monsters.

Yami Bakura

[Skill] descriptionHow to get
Compensation
Can be used each time your Life Points decreases by 1000. Send the card on the top of your Deck to the Graveyard, and recover 300 LP.

Draw Sense: DARK
Can be used each time your Life Points decrase by 1500. In the Draw Phase, instead of doing a normal draw, draw a random DARK-Attribute monster.

Tether of Defeat
Can be used when one of the opponent's monster is destroyed in battle. The Top card from either your or the opponents deck is sent to the graveyard.

Destiny Board
Can be used if "Dark Necrofear" is in your Graveyard, and your LP are at 2000 or below. At the end of your 5th turn after activating this skill, you win the Duel. This skill is negated if "Dark Necrofear" leaves your Graveyard. This skill can only be used once per Duel.

Fiend Farewell
Can be used when one of your monsters is destroyed by battle. 1 random Fiend-Type monster from your Deck is sent to the graveyard.

Zorc Appears!
Roll a six-sided die. If the result is less than the current turn count, play 1 "Dark Master - Zorc" from your hand. This Skill can only be used once per Duel.

Return 1 card in your hand to your Deck and draw another. The skill can only be used once per turn and twice per Duel.

Can be used each time your Life Points decrease by 1500. You add a 7 Completed, that is hidden behind your wristband, to your hand.

Restart
Can be used only once after starting hands are dealt. Reveal and redraw your starting hand.

Baggy Sleeves
If one of yoour monsters of Level 5 or higher is destroyed in battle, in your next Draw Phase a normal draw gives you 2 cards.

Cheater's Coin
If your Life Points are at least 1000 more than opponent's, and if you have at least 5 cards in your hand, your coin tosses always land on heads.

Can be used if your Life Points are at 1500 or below. Select and take control of 1 card Set in your opponent's Spell & Trap Zone. This skill can only be used once per Duel

Draw Pass
In the Draw Phase, instead of doing a normal draw, restores Life Points by 300. The skill can be used only three times per Duel.

Fairy's Smile
If you normal draw a Fairy-Type monster card during the Draw Phase, the card is shown to the opponent and you recover 1000 Life Points.

Prescience
Can be used when your opponent's Life Points are more than twice your Life Points. You can see cards at the top of decks of both players.
Lv20
Gravekeeper's lot
Can be used each time your Life Points decrease by 1800. In the Draw Phase, instead of doing a normal draw, draw a random "Gravekeeper's" card.

No Mortal Can Resist
Can be used when your Life points are at least 1000 less than the opponent's. All monsters in the opponent's Graveyard changes to Skull Servants (Zombie / DARK / Level 1 / ATK: 300 / DEF: 200). This skill can only be used once per turn.

Sealed Tombs
Until the end of the opponent's next turn, neither player can banish cards from the Graveyard or Special Summon monsters from the Graveyard. This skill can only be used once per Duel.

Chain Reaction
Can be used each time you activate a Trap card. Decreases your opponent's Life Points by 200.

Can be used each time your Life Points decrease by 1800. In the Draw Phase, istead of doing a normal draw, draw a random Spell/Trap card.

Endless Trap Hell
Can be used each time your 3 trap cards are sent to the graveyard. A random trap card in your graveyard is shuffled into your deck.

Bluff Trap
Can be used each time your Life Points decrease by 1200. "Statue of the Wicked" is set in your Spell & Trap Zone.

Can be used each time your Life Points decrease by 1800. In the Draw Phase, instead of doing a normal draw, draw a random Ritual monster or spell card.

It's a Toon World
Begin Duel with the Continuous Spell "Toon World" activated.

Creator
Can be used if your Life Points drop below 2000. In the Draw Phase, instead of doing a normal draw, a powerful card, from outside of your Deck, is added to your hand. This skill can only be used once per Duel.

Extra, Extra
Can be used if your Life Points decrease by 2000. During your Draw Phase, add to your hand 1 copy of the card you drew as your normal draw.

[Skill] descriptionHow to get
Elements Unite!
You will start the duel with 500 Life Points and your starting hand will be 1 card, which is "Gate Guardian". In addition, you will start the Duel with Suijin, Kazejin, and Sanga of the Thunder on the side of your field. Their effects are negated and they cannot attack as long as they are face-up on the field.

Can be used each time your Life Points decrease by 1500. Once per turn, send 1 Monster on your side of the field (except a Token) to summon 1 random Monster (that can be Normal Summoned) from your deck whose attribute and type are same to and level is 1 lower than the tributed monster.

Card Shuffle
Can be used by paying 300 Lifepoints, Shuffle your deck. This skill can only be used once per turn.

Can be used after your LP decrease by 2000. Randomly add Thousand Knives, Dark Magic Attack, and Dark Magic Expanded to your hand. This skill can only be used once per duel.

A Trick Up the Sleeve
Your starting hand will include 1 Lvl 7or higher DARK spellcaster-type monster, randomly selected from your deck. This skill will not activate if your DECK does not include 1 Lvl 7 DARK spellcaster-type monsters.

Show of Nightmares
Can be activated if you have 3 or more Spell cards with different name in your Graveyard. Randomly add 1 spell card in your graveyard to your hand. This skill can only be used once per duel.

Wow, getting skill through the Skill Lottery sure gets expensive when only one skill is needed for available.

Not sure if there is a difference between characters and/or skill, but for Crow's Draw Sense: Spell/Trap, the resources needed are: 2 million gold, 200 SR jewels, 100 UR jewels, and 100 Skill chips.

I know. You should go the regular way (PvP or Level 40 LD) if there are only a few skills left. I only use the lottery for characters at high Levels (at least 30) that are missing many skills.

The tie that binds all the way
Jake the Cardmaster
The skill ATK Boost Synchro for Yusei is glitched. It does not become available for activation when summoning the new Noble Knight Synchro card, High Laundsallyn, even though it's a Synchro Warrior and it you should be able to activate the skill.

The option to activate does not pop up at all.

Hope Konami fixes it.

I think the skill can only be activated when you control a synchro monsters that has a name "warrior" in it's name ex:junk warrior,nitro warrior etc not the warrior type synchro monsters

Read more carefully. It says your extra deck BECOMES goyo guardian.
