The best strategy right now is to sit in Elite 1, and just purposely lose until our badge got green, so Master climb would be easy (because of the green match ups) when the Master league is open.

I have been experiencing a lot of struggles against the Heavy Samurai deck since they were launched, is it only me or that deck in unbeatable unless you use Shiranui or you got a very good starting hand? And I played against them with elementsaber invoked deck, with Blackwings and with lightsworn and every time I win 1 on 5 matches, my normal win rate is probably 3 on 5 matches with BW, maybe more

Play Necrovalley. No more Gigagloves to worry about

I could probably make a GK deck.

I have 2 Thrones (I think) and I definitely have 3 Necrovalley.

"TDGP #2 Master 1 Player Achievement" <-- the only reason i would play this event

Got the Icon, the cards don't really interest me the way Carly's rerun & Crash Town Kalin does.

Leveling up my Kalin to 25+ for a copy of Infernity Guardian and the other Infernity cards in preparation for this.

2nd day and i don't want to play anymore ...

No other game has made me want to strangle my opponent, and bash their head in the a brick this much.

I agree xD That being said, I did enjoy the event. It helped me fine tune my spell counter synchro deck

Yeah, I prefer this over Leo & Lunas duel carnival. ‘Oh so it’s Yugis DM vs Joeys Red-eyes b dragon? Lemme whip out a Shiranui deck’

This game has been ruined by shiranui and dark magician,I haven’t seen a meta this stale since naturia dominated in year 2
<< Anonymous
Anonymous 1days ago Reply
naturia is year 1, not year 2.

Also we've had Sylvan meta and Fur Hire meta which are just as dominating.
<< Anonymous
Anonymous 1days ago Reply
Naturia was far more fun to play against. Dark Magician is so boring. If you don't have a really strong counter on your first turn you're screwed.

Shira is understandable, it uses syncs anyway. DM, well at least most of them are quick player so i don't mind.
.
What really ruins this kind of event is any kind of STALL deck.

if I play this event, would I be matched against people of my same lvl or against any lvl players?

The good thing about this is that you can get a decent amount of gems

Turbo shiranui grand prix

Bad event, unfun to play against the same metadecks over and over again + whats the point locking out chars if no one will use different decks? The only good thing about the event is the rewards.

To be honest, 5D´s resonated very well with the public, especially in Japan. Many YGO fans will tell you that 5D´s was their most favorite series: solid plot, well-rounded protagonist and meme-worthy "card games on motorcycles".

Especially in Japan? Interesting, because last time I heard, Japan love Zexal more than 5Ds.

Last I heard Japan is full of pedos who cares what they think.

You want they should add if this event comes back. Negating that power force skill to destroy 1 face up monster on the field. Negating skills. I would love that.

I actually did survey for that last time. I think they did at least change it from before if I remember right. Wasn't it that it used to let you destroy any one card? I think that is all they are going to do if that was the case.

Yeah, I don't know if it was just my hazy memory, but I vaguely recall there was one time where the skill can destroy any one card.
