How to beat/farm Anna Lvl 40 (Gate)

The standard Yubel farm deck still works pretty easily here. Though, it can be a problem if you aren't able to do the proper setup early in the duel since Anna can quickly summon her Xyz monsters.

Use Fire King Island to destroy the level 10 Yubel to summon Terror Incarnate so you can stall the duel. Normal summon Witch of the Black Forest and Sangan so that they get destroyed by Terror Incarnate, then search each other so you can thin the deck faster.

End the duel by activating another Fire King Island so Terror Incarnate gets destroyed and special summon The Ultimate Nightmare. Special summon Montage Dragon with any leftover Yubel cards from hand, then Shien's Spy the Montage Dragon so you can attack it with Ultimate Nightmare.

LP Boost α is basically a safety net, so you don't get taken down by Ironwolf that's boosted to become 3000 + 1000 effect damage from Gustav Max, but you can also just go with Yubel's "My Name is Yubel" skill for a consistency boost, or just use "Extra Life" gem before battle.

This is a pretty inexpensive deck to build, but somewhat slow to use. The combination of Cloudians and Sanctuary in the Sky / Spirit Barrier lets you stall a duel pretty easily as long as they don't have any backrow removal.

Keep gaining LP from Fairy's Smile skill so that you can tribute summon Ra and deal over 10,000 damage for over 8000+ points. The skill isn't necessary, but it helps ensure that you reach 10,000 LP before the finishing blow.

• If you don't have the proper setup early, you'll need to have Divine Punishment to stop Anna's Xyz. Another way is to use Cirrostratus to destroy them, but you'll need another Cloudian on the field before summoning it.
• Use Acid Cloud's effect to destroy Anna's field spell (Revolving Switchyard) to prevent her from summoning monsters from her deck, which can make her deck out faster than you.
• You can replace Shooting Star Bow - Ceal with any other card that can help you deal damage. Piercing cards like Fairy Meteor Crush or Big Bang Shot are possible options. Alternatively, you can use monster removal cards like Lightning Vortex, but you'll need to pair it with a backrow removing card like Storm to ensure that the attack will go through.
