Tips

A bunch of boss monsters have high attack and low defence making them good search targets for Witch of the Black Forest. One notable monster is Chaos Dragon Levianeer which can use Witch of the Black Forest as a summoning cost.

Exodia

You can put Witch of the Black Forest in a deck with other cards capable of searching the Exodia parts to quickly achieve its win condition.

"Sacrifice" what, a great card doesn't sacrifice anything. Did you know muh Karma Cut is useless against set monsters btw? Not everything is Xyz, did you know Xyz is the only restriction for this card's effect? Any other kind of summon and it's activated. Since when is waiting one turn "too slow"? I don't have this card but my Sangan has destroyed many trolls like the last commenter.

It is used. Especially now that not only it’s fully released but even has support with Fusion Reserve.

this is an old card from year 1997. took 14 years to come out. guess old card always be kept hidden because their hidden ability to shake decks

most of these cards are either very powerful or outright banned in most formats.

This card seems OP with shiranui as it can search all monsters in that deck, even gozuki

It is kinda slow however, since you also cant use that added card in the very same turn. In fact, you need it in the field to active its effect. Normal summon in shiranui is kinda crucial, and the choices is either summoning a shiranui or this card. Without summoning shiranui, you lose your change to do a combo.

Is this girl Goddess with the Third Eye?

Why do the artists put eyes everywhere? YUBEL has an eye in the forehead and in the chest as well. I thought she was BLAIR!!!

On the other hand, why does she active her effect in the GY. No one sends a girl to the GY.

......Gamea, that's not what the newest text of Witch says. (Also, fix the picture too with the latest print.)

The newest text of Witch, after the errata, which is what is being used in Duel Links, says:

If this card is sent from the field to the GY: Add 1 monster with 1500 or less DEF from your Deck to your hand, but you cannot activate cards, or the effects of cards, with that name for the rest of this turn. You can only use this effect of "Witch of the Black Forest" once per turn.

Search jinzo is more broken cause I remember old days when I'm playing power of chaos and use this to search it and negate joey's annoying trap
