Most of these cards are really just used to remove Syrus' monsters from the board.
Activate Array of Revealing Light and declare Machine-type. Since Syrus' monsters are all Machine-type he cannot attack the turn they are summoned. This is greatly helpful, as you can now destroy his monsters before they get a chance to attack and deal damage. Always try to get Array of Revealing Light in your starting hand with Restart.
Keep flipping Guardian Statue and Medusa Worm with their own effects to remove Syrus' monsters from the board.
Activate Infinite Cards anytime in the Duel as soon as you get it
Magnetic Mosquito and Acid Rain are best used when Syrus has a full monster zone and/or you know you will lose the next turn.
By the final turn you should have 3 monsters on your monster zone to tribute into Slifer the Sky Dragon.
If needed use one Enemy controller to change Syrus's monster into attack position.
Remember to use Anti Magic Arrows at the start of the battle phase, to prevent Syrus from stopping your attack.
The main strategy is using multiple massivemorph on Syrus' monster preferably one of his fusion monsters so they cannot attack directly, then have them destroy Kiseitai so that you can heal your LP every turn equivalent to half their attack points. This will heal you so much that any other attack Syrus' does cannot kill you.
Temple of the Mind's Eye turns any battle damage you will receive into 1000 points, helping you survive longer.
Use the effect of Golden Ladybug as much as you can to gain extra LP. Do not set Golden Ladybug.
Draining Shield, Curse of Anubis and Windstorm of Etaqua are all used to stall the Duel preventing Syrus from attacking.
On the final turn, set a Temple of the Mind's Eye face down to destroy the current active one. Summon Cosmic Compass and bring out two other tokens and then use double summon to tribute into The Winged Dragon of Ra. Activate The Winged Dragon of Ra's effect to boost his attack and remember to activate Anti-Magic Arrows at the start of the battle phase.
Send to the Graveyard, from your side of the field or your hand, Fusion Material Monsters that are listed on a "Vehicroid" Fusion Monster Card, and Special Summon that Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck. (This Special Summon is treated as a Fusion Summon.) The Fusion Monster Special Summoned by this card cannot be destroyed by the effects of Spells, Traps, and Effect Monsters, and its effects cannot be negated.
"Steamroid" + "Drillroid" + "Submarineroid"A Fusion Summon of this card can only be conducted with the above Fusion Material Monsters. During battle between this attacking card and a Defense Position monster whose DEF is lower than the ATK of this card, inflict the difference as Battle Damage to your opponent.
This card can attack your opponent directly, but when it does so using this effect, the battle damage inflicted to your opponent is the original ATK of this card. At the end of the Damage Step, if this card attacked or was attacked: You can change this card to Defense Position.
If anything, I feel they're more generous than normal. I have 2 accounts, and already have sets of everything barring 1 card on each. (Need a third Submarineroid on one, and a third Pair Cycroid on the other.)
Drops for me is very inconsistant. It must be luck that people are getting really good drops. What I'm missing atm is 2 Submarineroids and 1 of both Ambulance Rescueroid and Pair Cycroid which I hope they'll drop soon or maybe next time we have to duel Cyrus.
Such BS...this morning, I just got my ninth LV 30...with 0 LV 40. What the F**K is wrong with this event. Why would a person who is as far along as I am in this game care to play a LV 30 of any character? Not even my standard duelist are LV 30 (They are 39), and I auto duel them and win consistently. There has to be some other factor in why I keep getting LV 30.
I'm only missing 2 more Submarineroid and 1 more each of the two Fusions.
I've fought the lv40 one exactly twice, all my other duels with Syrus are against lv20 and lv30.
The point is, dueling lv30 ones isn't an issue. Drops are all based on luck anyway. You can also duel the lv40 one for 10 times straight and never get even a single copy of Inverse Universe and Pair Cycroid for example.
Do it with having fun in mind, regardless of the reward. Drops are all luck based anyway.
Not to mention, unless you want to play roids, you don't even need to have 3 copies of everything. From this event alone, unless you want to play roids, all you need is 2-3 copies of Inverse Universe. Once you have 2-3, you can stop.

I need two more of the trap cards, two more of submarineroid and two more of the fusion card. What deck do I use
for me it worked well with a normal auto duel deck. i farmed him a few times at the beginning, but the drop rate seems better without farming. just missing 1 inverse atm. well, could just be good rng on my side.

tfw you're not even farming but get inverse universe anyway
