Here are some cards with Similar effects to Shield Crush. Drillroid and Sasuke Samurai are able to destroy defense position monsters they battle. And because they are monsters you can keep using this effect while they are on the field. But the downside is that they trigger the opponent’s flip effect.
Since most monsters that hit the field in defense position are first put face-down Nobleman of Crossout can be used similar to Shield Crush. The upside is that banishing the opponent’s monster is more powerful than destroying it, and you are also able to get rid of extra copies of that monster from your opponent’s deck if it has a flip effect. The downside is you can’t use Nobleman of Crossout on a face-up monster.
Nobleman of Crossout existed back then, and was arguably better. (Banishing a set Rose Lover is more useful than being able to destroy face-up defence against Sylvan.)
