Description in the game

One of the four Emperors of Iliaster - the remaining survivors of the apocalypse - Paradox travels through time to try to save the future by eliminating the creator of Duel Monsters - Pegasus. However, other legendary Duelists travel through time to battle against him in the Town of Domino. He stole the most powerful monsters from various eras and transformed them into Malefic monsters to create the most powerful deck in history.

You do realise this is not an official Konami site or anything right? Who are you asking? xD
Cidthunder
I wish they made his "Malefic Dragons" skill where Malefic world couldn't be targeted by or destroyed by opponent's card effects for an extra layer of much needed protection.

Using archetypes dependent on field spells like toon kingdom, pandemonium, and sanctuary in the sky is always such an Achilles heel. It only takes one mst to ruin a play
<< Anonymous

I know your right and it makes me so sad. So many fun decks that aren't able to shine due to being overly reliant on a single field spell
<< Anonymous(Cidthunder)

What are you all talking about?

Malefic Dragons skill does protect Malefic World from being destroyed.

Unless you meant Malefic Territory.....

Good now we can be sure the rest of the malefic garbage won't clutter the next box

Reprint Reply
true, and Konami can reprint them in newer boxes just like they did with other cards
<< Anonymous(Reprint)
Anonymous Reply
There’s no reason to reprint them unless the new box would contain new malefic cards. But that’s not possible.
<< Anonymous
Reprint Reply
as far as I know, that's not how Konami works.
As long as it is profitable, there's a reason for them to do it.
<< Anonymous(Reprint)
Anonymous Reply
It has always been the pattern so far, and I don't see it changing anytime soon.

The cards reprinted are always related to the new cards in the same box. But there won't be any new Malefic cards coming. Therefore, no reprint will happen.

I thought Paradox was an android from the future. So I don't think he'd have armpit hair to begin with...

Russians have put Moscow on tracks and its moving fast towards Ukraine!

I was really hoping there would be a skill where I could shuffle a dragon into the deck and get it's malefic counterpart in exchange. Kind of like Dsod Bakura's advance ritual art skill.

konami adding paradox means the chars from different worlds will finally crossover and we may see yuma and yuya join yugi jaden and yusei against paradox 5 on 1. we also finally see kaiba meet declan, zane meet kite, akiza meet mai and alexis, anna kaboom meet the supreme king, etc

Don’t get ahead of yourself. I think for the Paradox event, it’ll just be the first three protagonists involved as it was in the movie.

Future crossovers like Kaiba meeting Declan may be a possibility, but don’t get your hopes up too high.

I'm surprised they haven't done this more often to be honest. There are plenty of characters that have made it known they are aware of people from other series they didn't know prior, and have even interacted with them off-screen, but we've had almost no crossover between them. (The one exception being a few DM characters being used for DSOD events, which barely counts.)

Woooohoooo! We get a movie villain! When truth universe box came out I was so sure we wouldn't get him since all his main cards were there.
Do you think there is also a chance to get the first movie villain, Anubis? I would love to see those useless Sphinx cards that never saw any play and are collecting web dust years now get a really good skill to be at least playable like:
"Begin with Pyramid of Light face up on the field, Sphinx monsters can attack the same turn they are summoned".

Paradox is canon to 5D’s too.
