After seeing how the first link era box made an immediate impact in the meta I'm hyped for the next mini box and that leaked water structure deck

That's why konami throws skills at us for money. Most likely a new SD with some overpowered skill will carry them for KC Cup.

Great box for f2p players, both Salamangreat and World Chalice are great decks that won;t be powercrept for a long time. For comparison, Salamangreat is still considered a great deck in the TCG today, which has a much higer power level. World Chalice is better here than in the TCG because the smaller deck sizes make it more consistent.

If you want a box that will last you a long time, this is it.

My only concern is that they empty almost all their extra deck just to set up first board there's almost no space for whenever the good generic links arrive

    TRASH BOX.
First: no evident new tier deck.
    Salad: doing literally ZERO.
    Code talker: zero threat
    Ninghirsu World chalice: PURE MEME
    Kaiju: LOL enjoy going first
The UR trap : always MST just like before, changes nothing
DM support and rank 8: who cares, dead decks

Were these the easier to understand link decks available? Cuz I'm getting lost by the 4th special summon

Well it is a good box after all, salamangreat is gonna be tiered by next week and world chalice is a reliable KoG, both are cheap at it too so that's a plus
    Candend
As for the moment, previous main box is still more worthy than this but this box sure has potential when new box with new link monster is released. As for now, the only reason to dig this box is shake hands- I mean salaman, salamangreat, Dark Magician support and generic cyberse support like lady debug and cynet mining.

All protagonists main link cards are future potential. Why? Because skills exist and will come to aid them soon.

Even if this box flopped and no one bought it they would just come up with a bs skill like "brute enforcer gains 4000 atk, can attack thrice and it's unaffected by cards effects, add a pot of duality to your hand at the beginning of your turn" and everyone would come back to buy it
    DM
I can see the future: ethernal soul at 2. Don't know if Dark Magician will be good but this card will be at 2.

Another continuous card for DM in a 3 s/t field format...

DM will probably remain an untiered deck that relies on going 1st. Just like infefnity.

I wonder if it's really worth it to protect dark magician from effects, circle banish and Navi negate is what carries the deck, dm is just a beater that can get stomped by battle by most boss monsters nowadays

Trash BAIT box, can't even scratch the power level of Duel Links. Pure Link decks will be trash for MONTHS. Even a simple triamid or magnet will stomp any LINK deck.

Yeah, links will be crap, like sychrons, xyz and pendulums. Just invest on vanilla monsters.
