Evaluation

RatingB-

Pros

  • Protects your other Red-Eyes monster from getting destroyed by battle and card effects.

Cons

  • Requires 1 tribute monster and needs to be summoned again to have its ability be available.
  • Good defense but attack is quite low for a 1 tribute monster.
  • Gemini effect does not protect itself from getting destroyed.

Tips, related cards, skills

  • Without summoning Meteor Dragon again to activate its ability, if you already have REBD on the field, you can use Super Double Summon to prevent your REBD from getting destroyed if your opponent uses cards like Order to Charge.

Red-Eyes B. Dragon

This card will be most likely indestructible when supported by Meteor Dragon Red-Eyes Impact.

Red-Eyes Spirit

With the help of this trap card, you can special summon your Meteor Dragon Red-Eyes Impact from the graveyard, helping you to normal summon it and activate its effect.

Superalloy Beast Raptinus

2 Meteor Dragon Red-Eyes Impact can be fused together to fusion summon Superalloy, and can then use Red-Eyes Spirit to special summon Meteor Dragon again. This is mostly useful if you already have a Red-Eyes B. Dragon on the field, but it's also good to prevent dead hands if you can't summon any monster.

Contrary to the bashing of this card, if you can manage to get two on the field, cant you achieve indestrucible status on everything (Including the meteor dragons?)

Well, for one, you'd need to not only get 2 on the field, but also activate both their effects, which is a total of 4 summons (or equivalent). For another, it only protects against destruction; there are plenty of banish/return to hand effects around at this point, or things like Nightmare Shark can just jump over to attack directly (and this card is too weak to fight back).

No reason to use this card if we dont have the fusion (even with the fusion its better to play lightpulsar)

No reason to run this card at all. No one uses this card in a RE fusion deck.

Yet another event reward/ticket card being turned into a drop.

I wonder if we'll see Fire Princess as DSOD Tea's drop?

I doubt we will ever get another fire princess. Konami is too wary of burn effects.

I'm also missing it. I want they give fire princess again. It's no matter if they limit it but I think fire princess will be drop as rebbeca's drop cause she is the one that use it
Lovely Aster
Deciding to make something else from the old Super Joey event as a ranked reward out of the blue like this after a while. Is this supposed to be a hint?

Need his fusion
Candend
Unfortunately we have Sky Scourge Enrise and Dark Core and this is gemini monster. Too slow nowadays
Dauntless
With the addition of Mokuba, and the nerfing of Red-Eyes in general, I am thinking this could be useful with Swing of Memories.
Anonyboy
So these are pretty much Dai-Sojo for Red-Eyes, but slower.
Question red meteor
Can 2 red eyes meteors protect each other?
<< Anonymous(Question red meteor)

It can. But its not a recommended combo since its so slow, inconsistent, and still dies easily to econ

I had one on the field and then normal tribute summoned the one on the field for exact same card and got no Gemini effect why is this I litterally thought all I had to do was normal summon it again

You don't summon a second copy for Gemini's to get their effects.
Gemini monsters are treated as 'Normal' monsters while on the field. You may then select the Gemini Monster(on the field) and use up your Normal summon to give it all the effects at the bottom of the card, thus making it an Effect monster.

You don't need or use a second copy of the Gemini monster in question; that's just a waste...

I'm 7k farming him, and I just pulled a third. It's nice to have I suppose, but I'm really not sure what I can do with it, especially with only 1 of the related trap. Has anyone tried using this with Gemini support?
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
Yes, I did, http://imgur.com/ABxNK6g this is my deck with the new rebd support 2, is 100% f2p and I have been testing it on legendary 1/2, it's quite good, I enjoy it too much, and have beated the 3 gozuki/ 3 wyvern rebd-zombie deck too =D that made me happy, beat a p2w player with a f2p deck, but they have beated me too, I mean, beatdown is the main game changing skill in a mirror match so

but the good part for me is that gozuki/wyvern deck doestn carry meteor impact, and mine does, and the main problem of rebd deck are instant removal, like otc, when I have meteor impact, they can't target my rebd, also I carry 2 vigis, so, mine is a bit slower than gozuki/wyvern, but have more ways to protect each other
