Pros

  • Special Summons a Blue-Eyes monster from your deck.
  • Can retrieve a Blue-Eyes monster from your graveyard.

Cons

  • First effect only happens during the End Phase.
  • Second effect requires you to banish this card.

Tips

  • If sent to the graveyard during your turn, do not activate its second effect because this will remove it from your graveyard which means it will not get to activate its first effect.
  • The most efficient way to make use of both its effects is to set this card and let your opponent destroy it during their turn. Summon a Blue-Eyes monster during your opponent’s End Phase. Then banish this card during your turn to recover a Blue-Eyes monster.

Blue-Eyes Monsters

Here are some other Blue-Eyes Support you can use alongside The White Stone of Ancients. Use Majesty with Eyes of Blue to pitch a Blue-Eyes monster to your graveyard for The White Stone of Ancients to retrieve.

Cards of Consonance

You can discard The White Stone of Ancients with Cards of Consonance to draw 2 cards and then activate The White Stone of Ancients’ effect during the End Phase.

Why almost all competitive Blue Eyes Decks I know use 3 copies of this card and not less? How important is it and how do we play it?
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
Only bothered buying this box 2 times, and sometimes I play BE decks without even using this card. Non competitive version.
Once you have 1 WSotA in the GY you can recycle it with Master with Eyes of Blue. Or with Red Eyes Baby dragon if you mix both RE & and BE.

Even 1 Stone is plenty if you can search it and then summon it from the graveyard after each usage with powerful rebirth, etc.

This card actually is quite powerful card to summon blue eyes without any tribute. Once the card is send to the graveyard, before end of turn, we can summon blue eyes from deck to the field. Which is why most of blue eyes player use 3 copies of this card

I always use this to summon dragon spirit of white before end of my turn that will automatically activate it effect to banish back row card

needs to be limited. zero risk all reward no skill required

You said it like they can do it everytime consistenly but the truth is they don't.

You're probably playing s h i t t y F2P decks if you can't seriously deal with 3 BE on the field with no backrow.
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
As their opponent, 3 BE on the field is better than no BE but a single backrow IMO.
That mean we can unleashed the combo without any problem, and possibly removing all that BE.
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
They do it consistently enough.

Did you know they have more chances of opening white stone + a trap or consonance than you of opening the backrow removal you talk about?

"7 BE monsters in 1 turn is unfair"

How is that unfair?

To do that you must have 7 lvl 8 bricks in your 20 cards deck.
That's nearly half of the deck being bricks.
Anonymous
I used the skill "transcendent crystal" to send this card to GY. But it didn't summon a Blue eyes in end phase.

Is this a bug or have I misunderstood the effect?
<< Anonymous

Skills don't interact with cards hence why during the turbo duel the skill can destroy cards with PoG on them.

or how Hassleberry's unique once per turn LP gain skill does not work with Aromage.

Can you banish this card from the grave yard with another card effect to activate its second effect. ive been looking it up every where and i cant find anything on it. im assuming no but i wanna make sure

no

No, but Leanchoilia works well with it.

You banish ancient with its own effect. Then Leanchoilia can return it to the gy for a second SS.

Y is this card or at least the 1st effect not negated by Necrovalley?
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
the 2nd effect should be stopped, but the 1st effect cannot be stopped by Necrovalley because it doesn't move any card from the Graveyard.
<< Anonymous

Please read necrovalley carefully.

should i aim for a third copy? i already have 1x maiden with blue eyes/1x glow up bulb/3x sage and 1x master
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
Do you even know what brick refering to?
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
Yeah, when You always have 1 BE dragon in your starting hand 6/10 matches just today, even though I have only 4 of them in a 30 cards deck.
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
Unless they give you trade-in, don't put too much blue eyes on 20 card format. Just by calculating the change of you getting several blue eyes on starting hand is already scary
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
I suppose BE was made solely for 40 cards format then.
Anonymous
I love this card I can basically do a synchro summon and then bring out a blue eyes white dragon all in one turn
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
Ie all benefits and no real costs.
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
Yes, and they still get beaten.
If you don't like BE just play >3000 boss monsters and protect it from targeting or whatever = auto win.
Anonymous
I sometimes feel like there is not enough Blue-eyes monsters to special summon from the deck.
If you have some of those dragons in your hand then WSoTA and Sage with eyes of blue become dead cards.
Is there any cards that can return cards from hand or graveyard to the deck to prevent a zero Blue-eyes in the deck situation?
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
If you are F2P your level 9 synchros might be something else than dragon or spellcaster, like GigantiCastle. In that case may I suggest Pot of Dichotomy?

Unless F2P blue eyes use something else for their level 9 synchros? Since Silver eyes and BE Spirit are hard to obtain.

If you really want to you can combo Priestess with Azur Eyes Silver Dragon for an infinity impossible to deck-out deck.

Azur will S.Summon your Blue Eyes, Priestess will send them back to the deck, making your WSotA+Sage usable once again. I often encountered situations where I had no Blue Eyes in my deck and only tuners to S.Summon from deck. Horrible that was.

Warm Worm stalls shall fear you.

Lol, turning my Blue Eyes deck into a Stall deck just to deck out my opponent would be original.

Use Solid Dragon to negate his field 1 by 1, and Spirit to banish back-rows. Then use Master to alternate solid/spirit + get back tuners + prevent deck out. Azure + Priestess to prevent deck out and a guaranteed tuner.
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
Finally, an original and creative deck. That is the one I want. If only I could see my opponent's facial expression when I deck him out with a Blue Eyes stall deck XD
Anonymous
Can its banish itself effect chain to card effects that banish cards from the grave or other cards that negate card effects in the graveyard?
FC_T
I don't know why but when I have 2 "The White Stone of Ancients" in my graveyard (1 that already summoned a blue eyes monster in the previous turns + 1 that was sent to the grave just this turn) when I use the effect of "Vermillion Dragon Mech" whichever tuner I choose (the leftmost or the rightmost) the newest ancient stone gets selected.
Is that normal ?
<< Anonymous(FC_T)
FC_T Reply
Because of this the newest "The White Stone of Ancients" never gets to special summon a blue eyes monster
<< Anonymous(FC_T)
Anonymous Reply
When you have to choose a card from your graveyard the latest one is on the right.
If you have 2 White Stone of the ancients -one that already summoned a Blue eyes, and one that didn't- then always banish the white stone on the left. The left one is the one that already summoned a blue eyes.
Anonymous
Have you noticed how this one NEVER gets old.
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
no, this is already an old card. Plus, BE isn't even in tier 1/2/3 right now.
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
Yeah, this card/archetype aged really well. IT ALWAYS COMES BACK TO THE TIER LIST.
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
This card is way too slow for the current meta and Blue-Eyes aren't really a good deck right now

ofc. stones don't age duh
