Sabatiel - The Philosopher's Stone | Decks and Ruling
This page notes details of Sabatiel - The Philosopher's Stone (Spell Card/Normal) : decks, tips, effect and rulings. Learn and enjoy playing Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links!
If you have a "Winged Kuriboh" monster in your Graveyard: Pay half your Life Points; add 1 "Polymerization" Spell Card or "Fusion" Spell Card from your Deck to your hand, except "Diffusion Wave-Motion". If this card is in your Graveyard: You can banish 3 copies of "Sabatiel - The Philosopher's Stone" from your Graveyard, then target 1 monster on the field; it gains ATK equal to the ATK of the monster on the field with the highest ATK (your choice, if tied), until the end of this turn.
Can increase your attack high enough to destroy your opponent's strongest monster.
Cons
Attack gaining effect can be difficult to activate.
Paying half your LP is a high cost early game.
Tips
Winged Kuriboh
You need Winged Kuriboh in your graveyard to activate Sabatiel - The Philosopher's Stone's search effect. Use cards like Where Arf Thou?! or The Flute of Summoning Kuriboh to search him out.
Cards like Fusion Sage and King of the Swamp are only able to search out Polymerization and not other Fusion Spells. But are usually prefered over Sabatiel - The Philisopher's Stone because because they are easier to activate and without needing to pay half your LP.
Lightsworn monsters are able to mill your deck to get 3 copies of Sabatiel - The Philosopher's Stone into your graveyard easily without needing to activate them.
Yeah, outside of uses with Cyber Style I can’t see much use for this, but with it this card is a 1 card Cyber Twin Dragon which is really nice. You can even throw it into decks not based on Cyber Dragons as long as you have a consistent way to mill Winged Kuriboh like Neos Fusion.
