  • Banishes your opponent’s monster.
  • Can reuse removal effect.
  • Has own Special Summoning condition.

  • Relatively weak attack stat.
  • Flip effects can be slow.

All Subterror Behemoth monster have the shared Special Summoning condition of “When a face-up monster you control is flipped face-down, if you control no face-up monsters: You can Special Summon this card from your hand in Defense Position.” and the effect of flipping themselves face-down, so once you get one Subterror Behemoth on the field it would be easy to get more on the field. The problem is that all Subterror Behemoths are high-leveled monsters. Some like Subterror Behemoth Dragossuary and Subterror Behemoth Stygokraken can be summoned with only 1 tribute to get Subterror summonings going. You can also use Subterror Nemesis Warrior to Special Summon Subterror monsters.

Subterror Final Battle

This is the best support Subterrors have. The first and second effects hasten the activation of your Subterror’s effects. The third effect gives your monster a massive boost in stats, which could be enough to OTK your opponent. The fourth effect provides protection to your Subterrors while they activate their effects. All while being reusable because it sets itself back to your backrow after use.

The downside is you can only choose one of these effects per activation. But you can set multiple copies of this card and use all of them every turn.

An archetype with Flip Summons as part of their strategy with support that puts them face-down to be Flip Summoned again. You can mix some Subterrors into their deck for more powerful and easy to summon monsters.

Ghostricks are another archetype with lots of Flip Summoning. They can turn themselves face-down every turn, similar to Subterror Behemoths do. Ghostricks lack power with their own monsters, so mixing in some Subterrors can be beneficial.

Other Flip Effects

Here are some other monsters with good Flip effects and are able to flip themselves back down.

This card does not target even though it's written so in its text.

...Yes it does.

Tip: You cannot chain Red-Eyes Slash Dragon's effect to the effect of Subterror Nemesis Warrior, since it does not target anything. >.>
it targets one monster right why red eyes slash can't negate its effect?

Maybe he active final battle before red eyes able to chain anything. Thats why final attack basically OP , just like what DKayed said.

No it's because subterror nemisis warrior chain blocked you. Dkayed said that final battle's negation prevation doesn't work on Red Eyes Slash.
The irony with Subterror being a archetype with 12 different monsters in Duel Links and seeing only the same one all over.

That’s because this and the level 4 are the only good ones- until we get Fiendess and Guru

Yeah, I was exagerating of course, but globally ; Umastryx, perhaps 1 or 2 Stygokraken, 2-3 Nemesis Warrior, 2-3 Golem Sentry, Final Battle, and that's it.

I don't get how a monster that is so easy to summon can have such an effect. The other monsters don't even begin to compare with that.

Though obviously against decks that spam, they might have more trouble.
I prefer being against six samurai in all matches again. Forbid this deck all over

I know it’s decks like these that are ruining this game

This deck beyond broken only rare cards

Now that Subterror and Metaphys have been taken care of, any chance there's a Black Rose Synchro recipe in the works?
Uuuuhhhh it looks like Godzilla
If someone canadia's your card you can special summon this card. You can flip it face down once a turn and banish a monster when flipped up. Pretty good.
One weakness is when it's flipped up by yourself it'll have only 2000 attack.

Use Universe trap to switch atk and defense

I think if you flip it face-down you lose the stat change from Inverse Universe.
It looks like drillgate (drilldark) became a huge reptile type monster.
