Cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. Must be Special Summoned by "Yubel - Terror Incarnate", and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. This card cannot be destroyed by battle. You take no Battle Damage from battles involving this card. At the end of the Damage Step, if this face-up Attack Position card battles with an opponent's monster: Inflict damage equal to that monster's ATK to your opponent, also destroy that monster.

How to Get

Evaluation

RatingA-

Pros

  • Destroys opponent's monster and inflicts damage to your opponent.
  • Destruction effect does not target.

Cons

  • Difficult to summon.
  • Does not summon any Yubel like previous forms.
  • Arguably weaker than previous form.

Tips

  • It might be dangerous to intentionally go into this monster from Yubel - Terror Incarnate as this Yubel does not have any protection or floating effects in case it leaves the field.

Yubel

Yubel has 3 forms each stronger than the last and needing the previous to be summoned. The best way to special summon the original Yubel is with Limit Reverse so that you can easily destroy it by switching battle position turning it into Yubel - Terror Incarnate which needs no cost to stay on the field. Yubel - Terror Incarnate destroys every monster on the field during your End Phase. If for any reason Yubel - Terror Incarnate leaves the field you can then special summon Yubel - The Ultimate Nightmare which destroys any monster it battles and inflicts damage to your opponent equal to that monster's attack.

Attack Targets

Give your opponent monsters for Yubel - The Ultimate Nightmare to attack into and deal damage. Lava Golem gets rid of 2 monsters your opponent controls and can be attacked by Yubel to deal 3000 damage. Destiny HERO - Departed is special summoned to your opponent's field every Standby Phase, so you can keep attacking it with Yubel to continuously deal 1000 damage every turn.

How to beat a Yubel deck when it comes?
<< Anonymous

Honestly, it's cheap, but if you roll with Fur Hire and just win by Deck out, it's pretty easy, that's how I did it.

Can Yubel's effect miss the timing?
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
Yes, it can. It's one of the ways to beat him.

I just use Iron cage to send it to the graveyard while playing with golden castle deck and you can summon it to you side of the field in the ext turn , and he can't attack because of the golden castle effect

Its a trap

The ultimate trap then.

I defeat 3 times Yubel deck in ranked duel using darklords deck. Simply use darklord trap to negate monsfer effects, and boom, you get clean shot

what a shame id poorlords got in the banlist, p2w tears is so delicious
<< Anonymous

Ummm... The deck still works pretty well, even after getting hit. Plus, if you know how to save up your gems, decks like Darklords can easily be built on F2P accounts. Not sure whose tears you're drinking, but they're not P2W tears. Maybe they're your own?

"Arguably weaker than previous form." ???

His previous form destroys all monsters on the field at the End Phase.
This one doesn't do that, you can destroy a single monster when you attack them.
<< Anonymous(Yubel=Male)
Anonymous Reply
No. The bigger reason is because he has no protection and consequently won't float.

Ultimate form can win a duel pretty easy if you attack any monster with it. While terror incarnate is has some stalling factor (at least until you draw your nepthys / fire fist monsters.
DaSwifta
Stardust Dragon perfectly counter Yubel decks. It's a shame Stardust Dragon decks are inconsistent as heck and that Stardust Dragon has basically no good support

You don’t need Stardust

Just play any Tier 1 - 2 deck from Meta report, they all have a good preferred match up against Yubel.
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
Are you saying tier 1&2 decks are good and have good match ups? Wow, thanks, Einstein. So smart.
Anonymous
Is there any reason why you can only hit this one with stardust and not terror incarnate?
Anonymous
Why i can't negate the destruction effect with grimson?

Then yes, you cannot pay because you don't have enough LP.

If you pay 1000, you'd only have 1200 LP left, and you are going to take 2000 damage from Yubel Ultimate Nightmare's effect. So you will lose the duel because you pay a cost. To prevent this, game mechanic rules that you are not allowed you to pay.
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
You can't pay the price for just one monster.
One of the conditions you must pay LP for all monsters on your field
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
That's not entirely true. You only pay for the monsters you're protecting, so against Ultimate Nightmare, you'll only ever pay 1000 if you pay anything.
