Well the question gives you two options as to who can take the damage, so by responding "who the hell else" suggests a you can't read or b you're dumb af

The wording on the card is a bit confusing it should say "the controller of this card" but since it doesn't it's the person reading (IE:the controller not original owner)that takes the damage

Both of the following cards tribute 1 monster.
1. Santa Claws from the Force of Infinity box. This card does not restrict your normal summon or set.
2. Volcanic Queen which is currently in a Selection Box. She has the same summoning restrictions as Lava Golem.

Only the burn got nerfed. The fact that it gets rid of 2 of your monsters still remain.

Since they changed Lava Golems text from 1000 damage to 500 I have to ask: do you think Konami is going to release new cards and change their text to fit in the game’s rule? For example: Scapegoat instead of 4 it will be 3. Raidraptor Tribute Lanius remove Main Phase 2. How will this work out?

There are characters who have voice lines for Scapegoat, so they do think about it at least, so I can see them eventually release Scapegoat with modified effect.

Some times Konami annoys the $#!T Out of me, the cards that should be nerfed they dont nerf it but they go ahead and target this one. They should also nerf dark magician circle, dragon spirit of white, and super heavy samurais.

Because there are already far better stuff to use in OCG/TCG.

Plus, this card is backed by generic supports in DL, generic supports it didn't have in real life back when it was released in OCG/TCG.

Also, OCG/TCG is less about quickly dealing damage now, and more about building a hard-to-break board while slowly chipping your opponent's LP.

Yeah, so if f2p can obtain the scraps and crumbs leftovers of p2w whales with a single digit chance of having it then it's f2p?

What a potato reasoning.

The main point is unbalanced cards like Levianeer should be errata-ed and nerfed because many complains about them just like for Lava Golem.

Of course. Lava Golem is F2P and it was giving me a harder time than some P2W cards. This is not normal at all.
When I started buying contents with money in this game I wasn't supposed to have a hard time against free cards.

Konami did the right thing by nerfing Lava Golem which is why I will always support them by buying their stuffs.
