BLS now has more abilities and is devastating.

Have a BLS deck with 3 BLS ETK BK SS EoC beginning of... SSShield and Synthetics....
This is the worse deck ever. Even with the support.
BLS is awesome if you are lucky enough to get him out on the 1st turn or so.
Otherwise you basically lose.
Id put money on my Magician of Chaos/Dark magician deck over this anytime.
Need a better way to burn through the deck to get cards in the G/Y to activate their effects...

Worst UR in the 🔥ing game. Seriously. The card doesn't deserve to be an UR in the slightest and if you get it you should feel robbed. I feel robbed just by the sight of it.

Well the new box has cards that buff BLS to become an effect monster that banishes an opponents monster, has a counter trap that negates traps that target, and a buff that gains 1500 attack by discarding envoy of chaos. Years ago,it was a 🔥 card on duel links. Now it is very useful.

1) You're replying to a post that was made before the new support was realeased
2) Reaching 2nd stage isn't that hard and can be done with basically any rogue-tier deck

Lol, that's completely false. There are TONS of leaked cards that were either added for AI decks only or were never released at all. Just look at the lists of leaked cards here:

There is no guarantee whatsoever that any of those other BLS cards will be added. Ever. Stop acting like it's guaranteed.

Support is the reason for the UR status. Same reason dark magician girl is a UR but beast of talwar is a rare even tho it has way stronger stats at the same level.

Because they wanted it to be the cover card for it's box because it's a recognizable card. Making it an UR makes pretty much no sense because it's not a good card on it's own without support, and to effectively use it's support you'd probably need mutltiple copies, which is a shame since there's only 1 of him in each box and pulling him every time you reset the box is gonna be incredibly expensive

I was wondering, since this monster doesn't have the "cannot be special summon except by ritual summon etc..." condition type, does this mean we can special summon this guy with any warrior special summon cards (like valkyrian knight for instance) ?

When a card is returned to the hand or deck I think the fact "it has already been properly summoned as required" is negated.

If this wasn't the case You could do some crazy combo with boss monsters from deck/extra deck/hand
