This page notes details of Gigarays Gandora the Dragon of Destruction (DARK/Dragon/Effect Monster) : decks, tips, effect and rulings. Learn and enjoy playing Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links!
Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must first be Special Summoned (from your hand) by sending 2 other monsters from your hand and/or field to the GY. Gains 300 ATK for each banished card. Once per turn: You can pay half your LP; apply 1 of these effects, depending on the number of "Gandora" monsters with different names in your GY.
● 1: Destroy all other cards on the field. ● 2: Banish all other cards on the field. ● 3+: Banish all other cards on the field and in the GYs.
why is this card an A?
We only have 2 of 3 gandora monsters. so a deck built around this could only expect to have 1 of 2 (usable) effects up at once.
While you could use sangan or witch to search, if you do you cannot blow up the field on your turn, the entire point of this card which would not survive your opponent's turn.
Searching the other gandora to pitch is 4 cards (this card, sangan/witch, 2 discards (at least one a monster)). In all, a deck using this would be 9 monsters (6 gandora, sangan/witch), 11 backrow.
Unless there a combo I can't see, not a good card
paleozoics are immune to regular gandora, meaning you can halve your lp until you can use Access Denied, a skill on yugi that prevents the summon of effect monsters. then you can tribute gandora and a gigarays in your hand to summon gigarays and it will have a bunch of attack
You just use multiple copies of this card and you can either nuke the field, tribute it, or go for rank 8 xyz. At one copy it sucks but at 2 or more copes it becomes strong. No need to run the other gandora cards.
