Enabling you to see the top card of your deck has a limitless potential when it comes to a duel. This skill can be utilized using Dark D.D.(Dark Dimension) deck, which enable players to see which to discard and which not to. It can also be used for fun decks.
I'd say it's more accurate to say, the BS fake way Konami "shuffles" your cards basically makes this skill useless outside of specific decks that want to guess that information. As for the "advantage of information", it always comes out less effective than it should be on paper.
This skill has a nice concept, but with the exception of the aforementioned dark deck, this skill is amongst the worst of skills (though not nearly as bad as draw pass, a skill so disgustingly bad it makes me wonder why the developers have yet to make a buff for this)
Draw Pass is also good for draw control like let's say you are farming and using Aromage Farm. It helps when you have 2 Jasmine's on the field and are close to deck out (although for some reason does not activate the Aromage's effects themselves). Even with Lightsworns it's a sort of control for all those discards from the deck
In my experience farming using Aromage, I never see the need to have 2 Jasmine on the field, but yeah, I can see Draw Pass being useful in such situation.
I run a FIRE Deck (yes, seriously) and I love using Hazy Flame Sphinx as Mai. You literally always guess right. I run a lot of own hand destruction, so I can special summon FIRE type monsters from my GY, at least one per turn, every turn.
Underestimated skill. Can be used with Thunder Dragons, Jar of Greed and Skelengel. If you like the top card on the deck then activate Jar of Greed and Skelengel. If not, Activate 1 Thunder Dragon to shuffle the deck, then activate the JoG/Skelengel. :P
