★I'm Exodia★ | Parasite Infestation | May 31 |
A comment from ★I'm Exodia★:
This deck is quite easy to use and very efficient if you play it against Neos players because you can Summon "Amazoness Swordswoman" on attack position and wait until damage step to activate "Gravity Lash" quick-play spell which will results to decrease your monster to 0 and your opponent would take the rest of battle damage.
Worst match-up was against Subterror, unless they control 2 monsters on their first turn so you can use "Laval Golem".
I also used "Fortress Warrior" to stall against Ancient Gear & Six Samurai. Good tip if you play against AG, make sure to always chain your Onslaught continues trap on start of battle to banish their monster.

A comment from Pduque13:
Deck is very versatile because you can burn/stall with it but also get very offensive. Amazoness Baby Tiger is useful when you want to stall/burn and Amazoness Paladin is a nice beater since its ATK can reach 2500 when summoned with Amazoness Onslaught's effect. Also, you can use Amazoness Princess' second effect to make double attacks by sending a monster to the GY and summoning it back with Amazoness Willpower, or use it to unlock space on the field for summoning with Onslaught.

A comment from xxxxx:
I was swinging back and forth between DLv 22_23 with Amazoness and Laval's
Then I decided to try red eyes engine with Amazoness which I had seen on YouTube
The deck is very aggressive disrupt your opponent's play with floodgate and Canadia and summon slash dragon which protects onslaught from blue eyes and ancient gears
Swordswoman is a solid card against blue eyes and ag however this deck is weak against Yubel.

Yuuya | Holy Guard | June 4 |
A comment from Yuuya:
classic Amazoness deck but with Holy Guard instead of Parasite and no expensive cards like WOD, Canadia, Mirror Force etc. and still reached my first DLV Max with under 50 duels.
I like Holy Guard because it allows me to be more aggressive on my own turn.
Some notes for some matchup that i encountered a lot:
AG: if you get Queen and Warrior on field you pretty much won the duel, they cant do much except for piercing damage maybe. Also keep in mind to activate traps before battle phase.
Blue eyes: For me that was the hardest matchup because Dragon Spirit of White can mess your backrow up really bad. Had to depend on Lava Golem most of the time.
Subterror: Here i tried to stall a little so i can get Lava Golem out asap because it messes up their combos.
Six Samurai: Second hardest matchup for me. Either i used 2 traps in a row and Shi En was only able to destroy one of em or i used Shi En as tribute for my Lava Golem.

Arya Stark | Draw Sense: Earth | June 6 |
A comment from Arya Stark:
Amazoness does not do quite as well against some things, but it still got me here. If you start running into a lot of sub terror, holy guard is a better option for the skill. But when I did switch for a while, they all disappeared. As usual, Weevil and his holy trinity of parasite infestation, lava golem, and cipher soldier ain't happening with me. I prefer the banish control version.
Works great against six sam and red-eyes a lot of the time, and that is mostly what I dueled. I won my final match against a red-eyes player after I got rid of their two red-eyes archfiends of lightning simply by getting them stuck behind the queen and the swordswoman. Red sparrow summoner is amazing for getting the princess, and gravity lash is great for a game finisher to use on your swordswoman to make her attack zero with all the big monsters everywhere.

A comment from tcmylmz:
Sazank is for six samurai, neos, blue eyes. If you don't have sazank, you can use skull Meister.
Twister is for Amazoness onslaught, DNA surgery and destroying your Geartown. I didn't use double cyclone because opponent generally doesn't set trap/spell card.
If you have 3 floodgate trap hole, you can change with all Paleozoic Canadia.
I used 2 Galaxy Cyclone because I have 2.

Had hard matchups against blue eyes and yubel. Got sazank from a lucky pull so it made things smoother. 50/50 against amazoness, red eyes, six sam, and subterror.

Broimatti | Beatdown | May 31 |
A comment from Broimatti:
Straightforward bewd deck. The main goal is to get as many big beaters out asap while also banishing opponents back row with spirit.
Snipe hunter is the MVP of this deck to fuel the graveyard while also destroying face downs or big beatsticks.
Very easy to summon three big beaters in one turn, with beatdown cosmo and giganticastle get 4000atk!
Econ take and tth help when opponent doesn‘t destroy your facedown stone/dawn knight and together with ebola help with protection because the deck may brick (sometimes a lot).
Now for the synchros: Armades for facedown flip monters or against heavy backrow (also a dawn knight + stone synchro gets two stones to the graveyard - people most likely don‘t attack when you only have set a monster if they can‘t otk)
Stardust vs yubel, rda vs subterrors, giganticastle as a beatstick.
Azure as a wall (e.g. against AG with destroyed castle) and for multiple spirit of white banishing. And dragon mech is very nice because you‘ll most likely have at least 1 tuner in your gy after 1-2 turns.
Matchups: (i’d like to note the meta is very diverse atm)
metaphys and subterror - hard but i probably don‘t know yet how to play against.
Buster blader - auto-lose.
Yubel - with stardust or maybe snipe hunter manageable but hard.
Red eyes - easy going second, hard going first, nightmare in combination with buster blader.
Stromberg - easy if you manage to get rid of pumpkin and then banish castle.
Amazonness - get rid of onslaught and queen asap, be afraid of swordswoman. Snipe hunter is the mvp.
AG - easy, usually you don‘t set backrow so double cyclone gets useless. Banish castle and they can‘t get over giganticastle/cosmo/azure in defense.
Mirror - hard, 1 misplay makes you loose. Usually both players end up stalling with setdown stones/dawn knights until possible otk.
Neos - Koaki ice can clear your whole board, cyberdarks kill you with direct attacks, steelswarms have great comebacks. Overall the protection of neos fusion is very annoying and with beatdown they easily swing over your monsters. Sphere ebola is the mvp here.
Six sam - on the easy side. To avoid getting dual wielded i like only playing one cosmo brain, or bait dual wield with protector + stone to come back with cosmo brain. Be afraid of enishi, ebola helps a lot, silvers cry/econ/tth become useless when enishi is out but are great fuel for snipe hunter.

Soggy Towel | Beatdown | June 5 |
A comment from Soggy Towel:
The deck is a Blue Eyes Cosmo Deck, but I switched out the two Snipe Hunters I had previously for two Keeper of the Shrine in order to more consistently bring my Blue Eyes back to the field after they've been sent to the GY.

Banjo | Fairy's Smile | June 5 |
A comment from Banjo:
Ties of the Breathren really breathed some life into Counter Fairies. Along with the new parshath cards, it is so fun having a competetive rogue deck. The counter traps negate everything, Spells, Traps and Monster Effects and there are six of them. Plus the parshath trap doesnt destroy it shuffles into the deck upon negation which is amazing to avoid floating effects. The boss monster Parshaths are great and using ties of the breathren to SpecSummon 2 fairy types that gain card advantage after counter traps activate is so powerful.
The biggest drawback is going second. This gives smart players the opportunity to activate effects before the traps go live. Also dealing with aggro decks can be a challenge if you dont have Meltiel in hand. The counter traps negate EVERYTHING but the key is picking the right moment to disrupt your opponent. Choose to negate the card or effect that severes their strategy the most.
Cool Combo: Often you will have multiple counter traps available and if you have the parshath CT then Set that and hold onto your other different CT. Activate the parshath CT and send another to the grave, with Minerva on the field she gets a 500 atk boost and she gets that CT back from grave losing no card advantage while setting you up for next turn and disrupting your opponent. TTH is there because why not? This deck is hella fun!
