When this card is Normal Summoned: You can banish 1 monster from your hand; banish 1 monster from your Deck with the same Type as that monster. If this card is destroyed by battle, or if this card in its owner’s possession is destroyed by an opponent’s card effect: You can target 1 of your banished monsters; add it to your hand. You can only use each effect of "Aloof Lupine" once per turn.

Not many decks benefit from banishing their own cards.
Retrieval effect can be slow.

Tips

Metaphys

Metaphys Decks' strategy revolves around the banish zone. They Special Summoning their banished monsters, and also activate the monsters' effects while in the banish zone. Because of this Aloof Lupine fits well in this deck by being a search engine and also loading your banish zone.

You can banish Metaphys Nephthys from your deck, which can then be returned to the deck to search out any Metaphys card. Banish Metaphys Tyrant Dragon and use his effect to Special Summon a Metaphys monster and trigger the Special Summoned Metaphys monster's powerful primary effect.

All the 🔥 combos already involved more than 4 cards. Everytime people summon this can cer you will find more than 3 monsters in grave in 1 turn. 🔥 abuser 🔥

Necrovalley can also be played in other decks, not just Gravekeepers.
On the other hand, Buster Blader will only add brick ++

Konami cannot predict what deck gets popular, they only rate it for the effects.
They start with unique effects like sending 1 monster to GY. If OK, proceed to sending 1 card.
Aloof Lupine is also developed after Foolish Burial in TCG.

Really wish they had just nerfed something else in TD as I like playing metaphys. TD will just put batteryman in and still abuse allured by darkness and d draw with hand traps. So all that got banned was metaphys...

No, there is not always 1 most broken. Most of the time you will find multiple decks sharing tier 1 status and they are equally broken. In the end, all tier 1 deserved a nerf.

Sadly you can't. BLS support cards have to be banished from the grave in order to trigger. If they weren't under such a limitation, than they would be more viable.
