Metaphys Nephthys | Duel Links & Master Duel

If this card is Special Summoned by the effect of a "Metaphys" monster: You can banish all Set Spells and Traps on the field. If this card is banished, during the Standby Phase of the next turn: You can shuffle this banished card into the Deck; add 1 "Metaphys" card from your Deck to your hand, except "Metaphys Nephthys".

• Searches Metaphys cards.
• Can banish all set backrow on the field.

• Can only use first effect when Special Summoned by a Metaphys monster's effect.

• The search effect can be used to search any Metaphys card including Spell/Traps.

Metaphys Executor or Metaphys Tyrant Dragon is needed if you want to use the effects of your Metaphys monsters because they are the only Metaphys monster with the ability to Special Summon other Metaphys monsters.

Metaphys Nephthys can add other Metaphys cards to your hand. Metaphys Daedalus lets you search a Metaphys monster from your deck to switch places with him in the banish zone. Don’t worry about banishing Metaphys Executor with Metaphys Daedalus’ effect because he is immune to banishing.

Metaphys Factor lets you Normal Summon your high-leveled Metaphys monsters without tribute but banishes them. Use Metaphys Factor to bring them back and banish your opponent’s monster when a Metaphys is banished.

Metaphys Factor’s banishing can also trigger Metaphys Dimension, letting you banish an opponent’s monster, but you can only banish 1 monster your opponent controls per turn with Metaphys Dimension.

You can use Nephthys support cards with Metaphys Nephthys but this is not ideal because as a Metaphys monster he plays much differently from the Nephthys strategy. Although you can use cards like Disciple of Nephthys to search him.

Great for supporting Metaphys even though not a Metaphys card himself. Lets you banish a Metaphys monster from your hand and another from your deck.
