text

When a face-up "Blue-Eyes" monster(s) you control is destroyed by battle or an opponent's card effect, and you have a Dragon-Type monster in your Graveyard: You can Special Summon this card from your hand, and if you do, inflict 600 damage to your opponent for each Dragon-Type monster with different names in your Graveyard. If this card is Normal or Special Summoned: Target 1 Dragon-Type monster in your Graveyard; this card's ATK becomes equal to that monster's. If this card on the field is destroyed by a card effect: Destroy all monsters your opponent controls.

Pros

  • Inflicts burn damage.
  • Self Special Summoning.
  • Destroys all your opponent’s monsters when destroyed via card effect.

Cons

  • Relies on graveyard setup for attack stat and burn damage.
  • Special Summoning condition requires some setup.

Tips

Five-Headed Dragon

The strongest Dragon-type monster. Summon him with Future Fusion and pitch multiple differently named Dragon-type monsters to the graveyard empowering Deep-Eyes White Dragon’s burn damage.

Self Destruct

Destroy Deep-Eyes White Dragon with your own card effect and wipe all monsters from your opponent’s field.

That effect damage should be reduce by half.

because 9 out of 10 BEWD players use this card, right?
And in 69% of their matches, they managed to summon this card, right?

Well, most effect damage cards are already crap, and they still nerf them to half or even a third, so why not do it with a blue eyes, oh yeah protagonist archetypes.

Is there anyone who attempted to make a "Deep-Eyes White Dragon" burn deck ?

Like using him for the main purpose of dealing 4000 or more damage with its effect ?
<< Anonymous

We only have 5 Dragons for that strategy so you need two more "filler" to do an OTK. But still a nice strategy.

Why not a Grass deck? Or something with Magical Merchant? Just make sure that you have a way to bring it back from the GY if it got milled. And you probably want to have a way to easily special summon an Blue-Eyes monster, which shouldn't be a problem though.

Why not a Grass is greener or Magical Merchant ?

Well, that would be too strong.

Your opponent will quit before you have the opportunity to deal the damage XD

Like with Quintet.

Actually that looks very doable.

It's very gimmicky but I guess the OP is aware of that.

Is it me or is Sagan the only monster that can search Deep eyes ?

There's Dark Archetype that can search this monster. However, Deep eyes will be special summoned and not in your hand.
This means that you won't get to use its burn effect.

DSOD was an awesome movie.

For some reason, my deep eyes didn't ask me for special summon activation when a Black rose dragon wiped the field.

When the Black Rose activated it's effect I chained with a powerful rebirth which would be chain link 2.

So it shouldn't have been a "missed timing" issue right ?

I had a Dragon Spirit of White already in the grave.

Super nice.
But I clapped it with U.A.

This card is bugged. I had a BEWD already in the GY, the one I had summoned was destroyed by battle and I could not summon this. Unless someone can explain why I couldn’t lol

I think you need to have another dragon type in your GY first. One dragon type in the GY and one blue eyes on the field.

Is this card worth running in Blue Eyes decks?
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
It's not really bad but it can make the deck even more inconsistent. And consistency is one of the biggest problems in Blue-Eyes decks.

damn dude, that movie was cool

You should request the vodo doctor that posts here once in a while he can cure aids and stuff

He's a spellcaster doctor. That's much better than a real doctor. Actually, he's clearly superior in every single way but one: His spells don't work at all. But I'm sure he will fix that small issue soon enough.
