Skill Details

Can be used on turn 2 and onward. Send 1 Ritual Monster from your hand to the Graveyard and add 1 "Super Soldier Synthesis" from your Deck to your hand. During this turn, you can only Special Summon "Black Luster Soldier" monsters, and during this Main Phase, you can only activate one monster effect.

If you send "Black Luster Soldier" to the Graveyard, you can also place 1 face-down "Super Soldier Rebirth" from your outside of your Deck to your field.

This Skill can be used if you begin the Duel with a Deck (excluding Extra Deck) that contains a total of at least 6 cards that are include "Black Luster Soldier" in their card text. These 6 cards must also include 4 different types of card. This Skill can only be used once per Duel.

Description (Until Jan 23)

Select 1 Ritual Monster from your hand to the Graveyard and add 1 "Super Soldier Synthesis" from your Deck to your hand.

If you send "Black Luster Soldier" to your Graveyard, you can place 1 face-down "Super Soldier Rebirth" to your field from your hand or Deck.

You can only Special Summon Ritual Monsters during this tum and you can only activate 1 monster's effect during the Main Phase until the Battle Phase.

This Skill will only activate if you begin the Duel with a Deck that has a total of at least 9 cards and at least 6 types of "Black Luster Soldier" Ritual Monsters or monsters that include "Black Luster Soldier in their card text. Can be used from your 2nd turn onward. This Skill can only be used once per Duel.

What does this garbage sentence even mean?

My deck should have at least 9 cards? Every deck needs at least 20 cards!

Types of Ritual monsters? They're all the same type. How should they have more than 1 type?

Well, from the 9 cards the 6 must have different names. I mean, you can't use 3 cards x 3 (total 9). So 6 of them maust be different from each other. This skill has the ridiculus restrictions and bassically ofers 0 advantage...

After doing the 20 minimum rituals to get the skill: Master Of Rites: Super Soldier for Yami Yugi it does not show up in the list to select skill for me. Why?

Its only unlockable on Yugi Moto in Dark side of Dimensions, not Yami Yugi

If I’m understanding correctly you need 6 black luster soldier ritual monsters and 9 black luster soldier cards (cards that list BLS in card description). This skill is a lifetime achievement, I think the expectation is that older players who already have 3 BLS can work towards getting 3 of the new BLS in order to use this skill. But it’s an extremely expensive deck then.

As it seems they fixed the old bug where you couldnt summon a bls ritual monster. Despite that, the skill is garbage. Running 6 bls ritual monsters is way too much. 3-4 would be more than enough since you will also run the field spell. But yeap, dont bother with this deck. 99% your bls will be flipped f/d or returned to hand once summoned. Also, you instant surrender vs melodious decks.

u can collect 6 type monster with bls to activate the skill. so u just need evening,beginning,envoy,2 diff gaia with bls, and bls super soldier. 3 more u can add more diff monster with bls (if u have) or the spell/trap bls related.

Broken skill like onomatoplay, d.draw, sealed tombs (at its time) weren't an accident, they are created to push sales and create an artificial meta

I'm not even going to go out of my way to get this Skill. I'm more a fan of the one that let's me special summon a DM from the deck if I take 2500+ damage the turn before mine, and the Metamorphortress trap Skill. Although, I do also like the Kuribohmorph Skill...

Send 1 Ritual Monster from your hand to the GY and add 1 "Super Soldier Synthesis" from your Deck to your hand.

If you send "Black Luster Soldier" to your GY, you can place 1 face-down S/T card that lists "Black Luster Soldier" in it's text from your hand, Deck or GY.
This skill can be activated only if you use a deck that has at least 9 cards with "Black Luster" soldier at their text or title.
