Top Pick-UR & SR Dream Ticket, Best Picks, Other Possible Options
update 17/01/2023

Updated Information

  • Book of Moon is added in Best Picks of UR Dream Ticket Section.
  • Staple Section of UR Dream Ticket is updated.

Overview

What are these Dream Tickets?

Dream Tickets are particular items that are given away for special occasions and they allow you to obtain one copy of any Ultra Rare (UR Dream Ticket) or Super Rare (SR Dream Ticket) card in the game, saving you up to 9000 Gems.

Dream Tickets do not expire right away, so waiting before using them is generally a good idea. With that being said, let’s get to our suggestions.

Rating is mostly based on how the card is performing right now, its versatility and chances of staying relevant in the future.

Best Picks (UR Dream Ticket)

Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon

Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon
Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon
DARK Dragon ★4
ATK 2500 / DEF 2000
Phantom of Rebellion [UR]
2 Level 4 monsters
You can detach 2 Xyz Materials from this card, then target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls; its ATK becomes half its current ATK, and if it does, this card gains that lost ATK.

General Rank 4 Xyz Monster for players to use so far. Its effect essentially lets you deal 2500 (its own ATK) damage if this attacks the monster you targeted. The advantage is that your opponent's monster's ATK is also lowered, allowing you to attack over it with your other weaker monsters.

Book of Moon

Book of Moon
Book of Moon
Quick Spell
Chaotic Soldiers [UR]
Selection Box Vol.04 [UR]
Target 1 face-up monster on the field; change that target to face-down Defense Position.

Always a strong card to have. Can be used to disrupt your opponent and dodge from backrow disruption for your monsters. However, it might be less useful when it comes to Link Summon Era, who knows? We will see at that time.

Mystical Space Typhoon

Mystical Space Typhoon
Mystical Space Typhoon
Quick Spell
Antinomic Theory [UR]
Selection Box Vol.03 Mini [UR]
Target 1 Spell/Trap Card on the field; destroy that target.

A General Popular Spell Speed 2 Backrow Removal in this environment. Deals with your opponent's backrow so that you can more safely summon your monsters.

Cosmic Cyclone

Cosmic Cyclone
Cosmic Cyclone
Quick Spell
Galactic Origin [UR]
Selection Box Vol. 01 Mini [UR]
Pay 1000 LP, then target 1 Spell/Trap Card on the field; banish it.

There has always been a need for back row removal in Duel Links, and the option to do it at Spell Speed 2 together with the synergy with various Skills, provided by its own activation cost, are the main reasons why this Quick-Play Spell is at the top of this list.

Forbidden Lance

Forbidden Lance
Forbidden Lance
Quick Spell
Valhalla Calling [UR]
Target 1 face-up monster on the field; until the end of this turn, that target loses 800 ATK, but is unaffected by the effects of other Spell/Trap Cards.

Forbidden Lance can be used to ensure one of your monsters is able to attack through a Drowning Mirror Force, it can prevent it from being destroyed by Treacherous Trap Hole, or from being flipped face-down by Floodgate or Canadia.

Floodgate Trap Hole

Floodgate Trap Hole
Floodgate Trap Hole
Normal Trap
Generation Next [UR]
When your opponent Summons a monster(s): Change that monster(s) to face-down Defense Position. Monsters changed to face-down Defense Position by this effect cannot change their battle positions.

Floodgate Trap Hole is less versatile than Paleozoic Canadia, a card that is often compared, but it also locks the opponent’s monster it flips face-down.

Other Possible Options [UR Dream Tickets]

Best Picks (SR Dream Ticket)

Number 70: Malevolent Sin

Number 70: Malevolent Sin
Number 70: Malevolent Sin
DARK Insect ★4
ATK 2400 / DEF 1200
Photons of Galaxy [SR]
2 Level 4 monsters
Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then target 1 monster your opponent controls; banish it until your opponent's next Standby Phase. At the end of the Damage Step, if this card attacked: You can make this card gain 300 ATK, and if you do, increase its Rank by 3.

General Rank 4 Xyz Monsters nowadays. Works well against opponents that only have 1 monster on the field. Even better if it's an XYZ monster since it will remove all their materials, or if it's a monster that says that it can't be special summoned in the card text.

Steelswarm Roach

Steelswarm Roach
Steelswarm Roach
DARK Fiend ★4
ATK 1900 / DEF 0
Photons of Galaxy [SR]
Selection Box Vol.05 [SR]
2 Level 4 monsters
During either player's turn, when a Level 5 or higher monster would be Special Summoned: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; negate the Special Summon, and if you do, destroy it.

Roach is great for monster suppression, much like a Trap Hole card. When your opponent summons a boss monster, use Roach's effect to immediately destroy it. This is an especially good counter against High-Level Monster Summoning, especially Mekk-Knight, Galaxy, Odd-Eyes, or Synchro Decks. But most of the time, just Roach's presence on the field is enough to deter the opponent from making big monsters.

Forbidden Chalice

Forbidden Chalice
Forbidden Chalice
Quick Spell
Servants of Kings [SR]
Selection Box Vol. 01 Mini [SR]
Target 1 face-up monster on the field; until the end of this turn, that target gains 400 ATK, but its effects are negated.

Forbidden Chalice is a versatile Quick-Play Spell that can be used to prevent your opponent from searching Dark Contract with the Gate via D/D Savant Kepler. I consider Chalice an incredibly underrated card, and also a really solid pick for anyone who doesn’t have at least one already.

Lightning Vortex

Lightning Vortex
Lightning Vortex
Normal Spell
Sign of Harpies [SR]
Selection Box Vol.05 [SR]
Discard 1 card; destroy all face-up monsters your opponent controls.

Karma Cut

Karma Cut
Karma Cut
Normal Trap
Arena of Sanctuary [SR]
Selection Box Vol. 02 Mini [SR]
Discard 1 card, then target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls; banish that target, then banish all cards with the same name as that monster from your opponent's Graveyard.

A pretty good monster removal that also has an added benefit of removing multiple copies of them if they're also in the graveyard. Great against the mirror match, or other decks that uses same name monsters, but good in general too.

Treacherous Trap Hole

Treacherous Trap Hole
Treacherous Trap Hole
Normal Trap
Visions of Ice [SR]
Selection Box Vol. 02 Mini [SR]
If you have no Trap Cards in your Graveyard: Target 2 monsters on the field; destroy those targets.

Treacherous Trap Hole is arguably the most powerful Trap Card in the game. Despite the fact that it currently faces a lot of competition from other Semi-Limited cards, Treacherous is played in a variety of decks, some of which you wouldn’t even expect it from, and that is thanks to its ability to shut down certain strategies and completely turn duels around.

Other Possible Options [SR Dream Tickets]

In Conclusion

It should go without saying that, if you already have, just to make an example, three copies of Mask Change and two copies of Masked HERO Anki, but you don’t want to dive back into Valiant Souls, you can get yourself the last card you need for you deck: these are just some suggestions and ideas to make your decision easier.

This fu cker really recommending gold sarc when it's only good in 2 decks, from which one is pure me me and the other one needs like 50k gems to build

You are too optimistic
TD needs like 150k gems worst case scenario aka most likely scenario

TTH

Just saying. TTH box is on sales RN and the worst amount of gems you may be spending to get one is 2K if it's in the last pack.
<< Anonymous

wall of d is on sales too but not even like one should try to get it the card is outdated af
<< Anonymous

Just let them use it for WoD, as some insisting it was a good card in this meta

Thats mean Less staple such as karma cut, BoM or even TTH in their deck. Its a win to win solution

Best pick is treacherous.

Other notable picks imo are stardust warrior, malevolent sin, abyss dweller, steelroach knight, photon bouncer.

Generally, you can never go wrong with general extra deck cards since you can use them in many different decks.

To all new & f2p players. Pick Cosmic Cyclone & Karma Cut with your UR & SR dream tickets. If you don't pick this 2 then you must be doing something very wrong. You will not win if you pick rubbish cards not relevant to the meta.

Real F2P players know they have to take a UR/SR card available only from the structure deck, because they would never buy a second one.
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
im real f2p still i choose not structure deck cards as i come to the conclusion most are not worth it and other picks can be better as its really costy in gems.
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
plus op was right, most of the time u need to use multiple tickets to get a sr deck working.

Structure deck cards isn't worth it at all. It will only cost you a few bucks. You should only pick a main box UR like Floodgate, Divine Wrath, Sphere Kuriboh. Never think that it is easy to get them easily. There are 200 packs in a box and only 1 single Floodgate in it. If you are unlucky you will really need to pull until the last few packs before you get it.

boooring cards.
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
too bad u cant get at least more cards from a few boxes ahead at least 1-2 from the current.
Anonymous
EVERYONE! Keep in mind the first 17 boxes/main boxes have 50% off sales right now (for gems), meaning you should only use your dream tickets for cards from the boxes after!
<< Anonymous

I have never wasted my tickets on such cards. After playing for 2 years there are still 30 over UR cards that I have yet to have 3x and they can be claimed with 4th anniversary normal UR ticket.
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
no matter what you pick, Konami will nerf your deck, so your UR will be useless in 6 months...like gozuki, and many others
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
That's why you pick staples and cards that could be played in many deck like Forbidden lance,
<< Anonymous

i used mine to get my 3rd deepsea diva and i got a 4th one from the selection box,
-dmn i couldn't knw if the selection box will have deepsea diva in it!!! what a waste.
Anonymous
i spent it on ua perfect ace for my amazoness deck.wall of d box had only 80 box

It's not worth it to take WoD using SR dream ticket, tho
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
When you say WoD is useless can you recall on how many times you have lost a duel due to 1 single card? WoD is a card that can single handedly win you a duel on its own and it is definitely worth it.
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
It is still better to pick Karma Cut.
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
WOD is worthless to get from SR dream ticket because it's from a small 80 pack box with Forbidden Chalice, arguably a greater card rn.
Makia
I think we have the following options to change the UR/SR card:
1. Top common cards: those useful cards who could be used in any deck. the problem is when that cards is restricted like Cosmic Cyclone.
2. Structure deck
cards: it's a easy way to get some cards without pay for it, The problem is none of structure deck is top of meta right now. except Blue dragon.
All the rest options is waste your tarjeta UR / SR, i guess.

Most of the structures other than blue-eyes aren’t seen frequently, but can be good when built properly. Some good rogue decks are Glad Beasts and Desperado, but I’d say the best of the others is Dragunity considering they can still build a powerful board that can banish three monsters. It’s very easy to even make double Ascalon on the first turn.
<< Anonymous

If you are f2p the only structure deck exclusive card that is good to get is desperado. This card comes and goes from the tier list quite often.
Anonymous
I will get a third Stratos and a third solid soldier to complete my Wounded hero deck.
Anonymous
I want to do a Water XYZ deck (already have a Noble Knights) for a casual deck. What URs/SRs should I get? I'm thinking Salvage for the UR and Moray of Greed for the SR.
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
Those are rarely used in water decks.

Get deep sea diva and the atlantean cards (marksman and infantry)
