You may have that tentacle looking hazy monster on field, it restrict your special summon only to fire type

Are you by chance using Yuma and one of his skills? Some restrict your XYZ summons to certain monsters.

Question about how this card interacts with WC Verre
1. Can it negate Verre at damage step?
2. If 1 is true, can Verre negate its effect in response?

My guess is that both are true but I haven't tested it yet.

Sadly Bounzers don’t have a quick way to get 2 lv6 Bounzers on the field. Phantom Bounzer can be normal summoned without tributing only when you control no cards. To get a 2nd big Bounzer on the field requires lots of cards to protect your monsters and remove opponent’s threats.

Oh, great. Here comes the "Cope" guy. We never said Bounzers wouldn't use it; it's just it'll be FAR more commonly seen as a tech in non-Bounzer decks due to its generic summon condition and usefulness. 9 out of 10 decks using this card won't be Bounzer centric ones.

God, if smugness were an actual currency, this guy would be loaded.

Cope. The second comment here said exactly that Bounzer decks won’t be using it. He didn’t address the fact they are a minority either. And also smugness is thinking highly of oneself, which is not present in mentioning Bounzer decks will use a Bounzer card.

Monster negation without locking into certain archetype would be useful for a long run.

Xyz is technically easier to summon than synchro monster and we still haven't got our crystal wing yet.

Number 27: Force Focus was powercrept within 3 months by a monster withthe exavct summoning conditions but way better effect. Atm, someone in Konami laughs with our money.
Will laugh even harder if the next box after hammer shot will have smashing ground.

No, only cards cards in the field, and if such effect started a chain.

This can't negate kuriboh, temperance, kiteroid, veil nor winged kuriboh

This can't negate FL every atk, jinzo, shs attacking in def mode, sabre dancer atk boost nor emerald/fox combo

It can't negate FL revival, spectralsword, solitaire, goukis, merlin, etc
