You can also Xyz Summon this card by using a "Number 39: Utopia" you control as the Xyz Material. (Xyz Materials attached to that monster also become Xyz Materials on this card.) You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; it gains 500 ATK and 1 monster your opponent controls loses 1000 ATK, until the End Phase. You must have 1000 Life Points or less to activate and to resolve this effect.

Feelz bad man when you just barley failed to OTK your opponent, and they comeback and clap you with this card.
The most useless Utopia card?

No doubt. I haven't had an encounter where my LP go down to 1000LP and having the need to use this card. Not even the original Utopia to negate attacks. I played TCG back in the day, and I can't imagine trying to use this card when the original LP count was 8k. I never saw anyone using this card because there were simply better XYZ cards even early on.

This card can otk easily

In Duel Links, yeah this card can OTK, but in real life, lol no, this card is indeed useless
xyz summpon no39 , then special summon noc39. Can this be considered 2x xyz summon for current zexal event?

You can also Xyz Summon this card by using a "Number 39: Utopia" you control as the Xyz Material.

It clearly mentions that it is considered as a Xyz summon.
They buffed heroic champion excalibur which is easier to summon, but they nerfed hope ray which is more difficult to summon especially in lp requirement. Strange.

But you can activate this effect multiple times per turn

They didn't nerf Hope Ray, this is exactly the same as in the anime, the anime effect is also written in exactly the same way: the effect detach 1 but is NOT Once per Turn.

The anime simply makes Yuma detach multiple at once just for dramatic effect (Hope Ray's ATK increasing by a huge amount instantly while opponent's monster's ATK drop harshly, instead of the increase and drop happening in increments)
You can OTK with this, but the 1000 or less LP restriction is bad....

Even Konami thinks it's bad, there is literally only 1 other Chaos Xyz that is like Hope Ray in terms of effect.

All the other Chaos Xyz since then are the Rank Up version that simply needs its base form attached for full power.
