I attacked my opponent's Fortress Warrior hoping it would trigger my Bad Aim, so that I could destroy my opponent's Power of the Guardians.

Plot twist: it didn't trigger anything. Why would that be?

Fortress Warrior only has Continuous effect, which is applied all the time and does not activate.

Thanks for answering. Please one more question. How can I know then what cards do and don't trigger this kind of Trap?

Is there an identifiable rule, or a list or something? Should I keep the list open to alt-tab while dueling, maybe?

There are way too many to list. Thousands of cards have effect that activates.

But the general rule is that usually, if a card's effect requires a cost, or requires the player of the card to perform a specific action, or uses "you can", then it's an effect that activates.

This card is good, but you need know how to use.This is very versatle and can be used in ancient gear deck to destroy AG Fortress or a big monster of opponent. Don't use to destroy Geartown because this card always chain and Geartown has Miss Time.

It was pre nerf Koaki, Vampires and Spellbooks meta in which this card worked poorly.

They're part of the Igknight archetype, an archetype of Pendulum Normal monsters whose playstyle involve blowing each other up using their Pendulum effect.
