Warning point or this? I feel like warning point is better cuz a lot of decks now these days are special summonings from extra decks.

They gave me - an f2p - this card the first time I bought the box.

I guess it is the sign that this card is not that great, seeing that I never got Levianeer from the numerous times bought the box.

Salt aside all monster effect negation spell / trap has its own pros and cons

-Fiendish chain is continuous and the monster cant attack
-Forbidden chalice is a quick spell and add some ATK boost for a situational condition
-Breakthrough Skill can be used once more from the GY.

Effect negation that doesn't destroy is not that good nowadays every deck has extra deck plays and multiple summons per turn: harpies have nest an egotist, resonators is all special summons, onomat can wait for you negate to them add to their hand something to keep playing, TD can summon tons of times too

uhhh, cards that negates effect+destroy has a cost of discard, which not every deck can afford. That's why you only see BE use them because they benefit from discard. There's a reason why karma cut/providence/divine wrath are not used in every deck because it's not very splashable

Bouncer only negates, still tier 1 xyz material.
Witchcrafters only negated, still became tier 1 when they came.
Fiendish still popular although it doesnt destroy.
Yugioh is all about powerfull effects. Effect veiller was and still even today is one of the best cards in tcg and had the same effect.

Basically Breakthrough Skill has limited timing activations than Forbidden Chalice.

I have this card, but am confused on how it works. I used it on a six samurai monster to negate its effect to return a card to my hand after banishing two Six samurai cards from their graveyard. Didn't work and it cost me the duel. What effects does it actually negate?

Yes, you have to wait until the monster activates the effect and then chain this card.

To be specific, enishi effect himself is a quick effect. Of course he is able to chain another spell speed 2 card.

This card is an excellent replacement for Fiendish Chain. You can activate it anytime except Damage Step or agains Counter Trap. It also triggers from GY, allowing me to use my TTH again.

Top of the chain resolves first. The Enishi effect went on top of your Breakthrough Skill because you started the chain. Wait for the opponent to start the chain then you activate it.

its a good card if u knw how use it!! for example this card will boost HL deck and it will not affect TTH. BOM still the best choice but in case u don't have it.

Lightsworns can utilize that card's 2nd effect to catch opponents off guard in all honesty.
