Overview

What are these Dream Tickets?

Dream Tickets are particular items that are given away for special occasions and they allow you to obtain one copy of any Ultra Rare (UR Dream Ticket) or Super Rare (SR Dream Ticket) card in the game, saving you up to 9000 Gems.

Dream Tickets do not expire right away, so waiting before using them is generally a good idea. With that being said, let’s get to our suggestions.

Rating is mostly based on how the card is performing right now, its versatility and chances of staying relevant in the future.

7 Best Picks (UR Dream Ticket)

Cosmic Cyclone

Cosmic Cyclone
Cosmic Cyclone
Quick Spell
Galactic Origin [UR]
Pay 1000 LP, then target 1 Spell/Trap Card on the field; banish it.

There has always been a need for back row removal in Duel Links, and the option to do it at Spell Speed 2 together with the synergy with various Skills, provided by its own activation cost, are the main reasons why this Quick-Play Spell is at the top of this list.

Drowning Mirror Force

Drowning Mirror Force
Drowning Mirror Force
Normal Trap
Gaia Genesis [UR]
When an opponent's monster declares a direct attack: Shuffle all Attack Position monsters your opponent controls into the Deck.

A single Trap Card that can deal with an entire board full of monsters. Drowning Mirror Force is something everyone should keep in mind whenever they are attacking their opponent directly, and something you should definitely consider picking up if you don’t already have a set.

Paleozoic Canadia

Paleozoic Canadia
Paleozoic Canadia
Normal Trap
Valiant Souls [UR]
Target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls; change it to face-down Defense Position. Once per Chain, when a Trap Card is activated while this card is in your Graveyard: Special Summon this card as a Normal Monster (Aqua-Type/WATER/Level 2/ATK 1200/DEF 0). (This card is NOT treated as a Trap Card.) If Summoned this way, this card is unaffected by monster effects, also banish it when it leaves the field.

Paleozoic Canadia is an incredibly versatile Trap Card: it can be used to disrupt your opponent’s plays, to force the activation of an effect, or to allow one of your monsters to get over an opponent’s monster. Finally, Canadia can be Special Summoned from the Graveyard as a Level 2 monster, giving you extra protection, offensive pressure, or just a non-Tuner to use for a Synchro Summon.

Floodgate Trap Hole

Floodgate Trap Hole
Floodgate Trap Hole
Normal Trap
Generation Next [UR]
When your opponent Summons a monster(s): Change that monster(s) to face-down Defense Position. Monsters changed to face-down Defense Position by this effect cannot change their battle positions.

Floodgate Trap Hole is less versatile than Paleozoic Canadia, a card that is often compared, but it also locks the opponent’s monster it flips face-down.

Forbidden Lance

Forbidden Lance
Forbidden Lance
Quick Spell
Valhalla Calling [UR]
Target 1 face-up monster on the field; until the end of this turn, that target loses 800 ATK, but is unaffected by the effects of other Spell/Trap Cards.

Forbidden Lance can be used to ensure one of your monsters is able to attack through a Drowning Mirror Force, it can prevent it from being destroyed by Treacherous Trap Hole, or from being flipped face-down by Floodgate or Canadia.

Galaxy Cyclone

Galaxy Cyclone
Galaxy Cyclone
Normal Spell
Gaia Genesis [UR]
Target 1 Set Spell/Trap Card on the field; destroy it. During your Main Phase, except the turn this card was sent to the Graveyard: You can banish this card from your Graveyard, then target 1 face-up Spell/Trap Card on the field; destroy it. You can only use this effect of "Galaxy Cyclone" once per turn.

Although Galaxy Cyclone is definitely less versatile compared to Cosmic Cyclone, the option to banish it from the GY to extract additional value gives it more relevant in certain scenarios.

Sphere Kuriboh

Sphere Kuriboh
Sphere Kuriboh
DARK Fiend ★1
ATK 300 / DEF 200
The Ultimate Rising [UR]
When an opponent's monster declares an attack: You can send this card from your hand to the Graveyard; change the attacking monster to Defense Position. When you Ritual Summon a monster, you can banish this card from your Graveyard as 1 of the monsters required for the Ritual Summon.

Sphere Kuriboh has partially been outclassed by Kiteroid, but it’s still a fantastic card. For starters, this Level 1 monster is not Semi-Limited, which means that running it does not prevent you from being able to play World Legacy Clash, Enemy Controller, Hey, Trunade! and Treacherous Trap Hole. Sphere Kuriboh can switch your opponent’s monsters into Defense Position, which can sometimes be very beneficial, and it can be used even if your opponent is not attacking you directly, which means it can be used to protect your monsters as well.

4 Best Picks (SR Dream Ticket)

Treacherous Trap Hole

Treacherous Trap Hole
Treacherous Trap Hole
Normal Trap
Visions of Ice [SR]
If you have no Trap Cards in your Graveyard: Target 2 monsters on the field; destroy those targets.

Treacherous Trap Hole is arguably the most powerful Trap Card in the game. Despite the fact that it currently faces a lot of competition from other Semi-Limited cards, Treacherous is played in a variety of decks, some of which you wouldn’t even expect it from, and that is thanks to its ability to shut down certain strategies and completely turn duels around.

Wall of Disruption

Wall of Disruption
Wall of Disruption
Normal Trap
Servants of Kings [SR]
When an opponent's monster declares an attack: All Attack Position monsters your opponent controls lose 800 ATK for each monster they control.

Wall of Disruption and Drowning Mirror Force are first two cards that should come to mind whenever your opponent’s back row does not cause any delay. Similarly to Treacherous Trap Hole, this Trap Card can be easily played in any deck, it can be incredibly impactful at times, allowing you to survive longer and potentially turning an entire board full of monsters into a complete liability.

Hey, Trunade!

Hey, Trunade!
Hey, Trunade!
Normal Spell
Rampage of the Forest [SR]
Return all Set Spells and Traps on the field to the hand.

Strong back row calls for strong back row removal. Hey, Trunade! can be played at the very beginning of your turn in order to ensure that cards like Paleozoic Canadia and Floodgate Trap Hole do not disrupt your plays and that others like Drowning Mirror Force and Wall of Disruption don’t set you back completely.

Dragon Spirit of White

Dragon Spirit of White
Dragon Spirit of White
LIGHT Dragon ★8
ATK 2500 / DEF 2000
The White Dragon of Legend [SR]
SR Dream Ticket [SR]
(This card is always treated as a "Blue-Eyes" card.)This card is treated as a Normal Monster while in the hand or Graveyard. When this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can target 1 Spell/Trap Card your opponent controls; banish it. During either player's turn, if your opponent controls a monster: You can Tribute this card; Special Summon 1 "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" from your hand.

If you still don’t have your third copy of this card because you understandably decided not to invest actual money in the game and purchase the second White Dragon of Legend Structure Deck, this is your chance. Blue-Eyes is still a relatively new deck compared to others that are currently around and it might even receive further support in the future.

Forbidden Chalice

Forbidden Chalice
Forbidden Chalice
Quick Spell
Servants of Kings [SR]
Target 1 face-up monster on the field; until the end of this turn, that target gains 400 ATK, but its effects are negated.

Forbidden Chalice is a versatile Quick-Play Spell that can be used to prevent your opponent from searching Invocation via Aleister the Invoker, Cybernetic Overflow via Cyber Dragon Core, and Magician Navigation via Magician's Rod. I consider Chalice an incredibly underrated card, and also a really solid pick for anyone who doesn’t have at least one already.

Other Possible Options [SR Dream Tickets]

Golden Castle Support

CardHow to Get
Glife the Phantom Bird
Glife the Phantom Bird
Dimension of the Wizards

Buster Blader DNA Surgery Support

CardHow to Get
Destruction Swordsman Fusion
Destruction Swordsman Fusion
Power of Bravery

In Conclusion

It should go without saying that, if you already have, just to make an example, three copies of Mask Change and two copies of Masked HERO Anki, but you don’t want to dive back into Valiant Souls, you can get yourself the last card you need for you deck: these are just some suggestions and ideas to make your decision easier.

Chalice is really a versalite card. Surprising your enemy by increasing your own monster's atk by 400. Or supressing their effect monster. Too bad it is in an old Box.

DL is P2W? Then tell me one important non-cosmetic thing (basically, the cards) that will forever requires real life money to get it?

You can't, because there's none. Selection Box cards will eventually be in regular boxes, Structure Decks can be bought once using gems, and additional copies for SD cards can be obtained for free through Dream Tickets. (Also applies for the Silent Magician SD EX.)

Ancient gear wyvern, cosmo brain etc...

Until these cards are given through event or level up reward this game won't be completely f2p
<< Anonymous
Anonymous 15days ago Reply
DL is more F2P than Dota and LoL.

You can obtain several copies of the rarest cards for a cheap hundred but in Dota and LoL even if you use thousands of your precious hard-earned real life wages you aren't rewarded for your sacrifice.

I have 2 SR Dream Tickets already, with the next one, they'll become 3. With the new UR Dream Ticket and those SR ones, I can draw 3 E-Hero Sold Solder and 1 Dian. But since they are in the same box, I think I can buy them with gems to get a nice Masked Heroes deck. Should I buy them and save the dream tickets? Or use the tickets and save some gems? Please, a "Legend or higher rank" player answer me. :(

Yami Aster 1days ago Reply
That seems to be the new norm now. At least they gave some good stuff for Alexis and Yami Yugi and even Bastion. But with Aster, they don't want to give him any new monsters because heroes are only supposed to start in selection boxes and structure decks now. They could have at least given him ehero phoenix and shining phoenix enforcer. They won't break the game.

The main issue today is that the only way they know how to balance a game is by making you purchase new cards.

It's as stupid as League of Legends developpers telling you: to make your favorite hero more balanced buy a new patch or lose the game.
<< Anonymous
Yami Aster 1days ago Reply
I buy all the ones I like, I just wish they would at least speed it up. Still none of this stuff we should have now in the game from before while they were already getting new stuff in the real card game like sunriser. It is too slow now to only go this route with other heroes almost never being in regular boxes now unless they started in the selection boxes.
<< Anonymous
Yami Aster 1days ago Reply
Although to be fair, they were packing the hero stuff into regular boxes for a long time before and even gave Jaden/Yubel new stuff. But I swear, if there isn't at least 1 new monster drop in the next Aster event, that is just going too far. All the others got new monsters in their events.

I prefer Floodgates but yes Canadia is excellent because it allows you to do two things - cut something off instantly at a critical stage (eg equipping), buying you a turn in the process and also summon a creature from the graveyard to tribute on or do whatever else these crazy kids do with creatures nowadays.

Would it be better to get 3rd Canadia or 1st Mirror Force/Sphere

Why do they deserve thanks for allowing us to get one UR without having to spend 5000+ gems on an irrelevant box? The dream ticket wouldn't be such a big deal if URs and SRs from old boxes weren't so expensive to obtain in the first place and if doing so yielded more than just a bunch of irrelevant cards, which are problems they created in the first place.

I pick my 3th soul exchange :’v
<< Anonymous(Anonymous No. 2)
Anonymous Reply
Soul Exchange is for Tribute Summon, not Synchro Summon.

You don't even tribute the materials, you simply send them to the graveyard.
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
Soul exchange can also be used for ritual summon. Synchro could be possible too.
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
SOul exchange cannot be use for synchro summon as synchro doesn't count as "tribute". This site does not give accurate info on that and mislead many people's understanding on synchro summoning.

Synchro summon "send" material to grave, not "tribute".

well you can use it to tribute opp monster to keep yubel alive.

ahhh can someone help me?? can't decide between sphere kuriboh, gozuki and canadia.

sk for my yubel/phoenix deck
gozuki for the vamp deck i want to build
canadia for my amazoness deck

i have one of each card mentioned

If the same rule applies just like last UR dream ticket, then the 12th box (valiant) will be included as well
<< Anonymous
Frustration Reply
Regular Kuriboh works just as fine as Sphere Kuriboh in Yubel builds.

If you have one of each, two Canadias would serve you more use right now than two Gozukis since we're getting into Synchros.

isnt canadia and traps like wall of disruption good in almost every deck tho ?

Canadia is the best but WoD is falling out of meta because of the power creep. Battle traps that don't outright 🔥 something are too slow. And battle traps in general suck now.

Is it a waste to spend SR dream ticket on toon dark magician girl?
<< Anonymous

...there's no "non-dream" ticket that can give you Toon DMG.

The Prismatic SR ticket can give Toon DMG, so it's likely the non-prismatic one can as well.

non-dream tickets don't give you toon dmg

Unless for whatever dumb reason you think all the anniversary tickets are Dream Tickets, and you're merely trying to say that things like Ranked tickets don't have it.
