Updated Information

Overview

What are these Dream Tickets?

Dream Tickets are particular items that are given away for special occasions and they allow you to obtain one copy of any Ultra Rare (UR Dream Ticket) or Super Rare (SR Dream Ticket) card in the game, saving you up to 9000 Gems.

We already know that these items do not expire right away, so waiting before using them is generally a good idea. With that being said, let’s get to our suggestions.

Rating is mostly based on how the card is performing right now, its versatility and chances of staying relevant in the future.

UR Dream Ticket

Paleozoic Canadia

CardRating
Paleozoic Canadia
Paleozoic Canadia
★ 5

Paleozoic Canadia is an amazingly versatile Trap Card: it can be used offensively, to disrupt the opponent’s play, to prevent Synchro Summoning and it can even be Special Summoned from the Graveyard as a Level 2 monster.

Sphere Kuriboh

CardRating
Sphere Kuriboh
Sphere Kuriboh
★ 4

Sphere Kuriboh is a card that can fit in almost any deck, it has the ability to prevent OTKs and it has managed to stay relevant for quite a long time. One thing you should really consider here is the fact that The Ultimate Rising contains pretty much no other card that currently holds much value, so the UR Dream Ticket could save you the trouble of digging through it.

Drowning Mirror Force

CardRating
Drowning Mirror Force
Drowning Mirror Force
★ 4

This Trap Card has the ability of removing all Attack Position monsters your opponent controls from the field and shuffling them back into the Deck. The downside of Drowning Mirror Force is the fact that you can only activate it in response to a direct attack, but it’s easily one of the most destructive cards in Duel Links.

Floodgate Trap Hole

CardRating
Floodgate Trap Hole
Floodgate Trap Hole
★ 3

Floodgate Trap Hole is a very similar card to Paleozoic Canadia, but it’s also a lot less versatile. You can only activate Floodgate on Summon, it can’t be chained to a Hey, Trunade! and it doesn’t have the additional effect of Special Summoning itself from the Graveyard.

With that being said, there really isn’t much else to look forward to when opening Generation Next and Floodgate does have the added benefit of locking the monster it flips in face-down Defense Position, so it wouldn’t be a bad investment.

Galaxy Cyclone

CardRating
Galaxy Cyclone
Galaxy Cyclone
★ 3

This Spell Card can provide backrow removal on activation and even be used one more time from the Graveyard to get rid of a Vampire Kingdom or a Core Reinforcement. It’s just unfortunate that Gaia Genesis, the Main BOX that features this card, contains quite a few great cards.

Cosmic Cyclone

CardRating
Cosmic Cyclone
Cosmic Cyclone
★ 3

Cosmic Cyclone serves a similar purpose to Galaxy Cyclone, but it’s a Quick-Play Spell and it banishes the card it targets. You can’t recycle Cosmic Cyclone from the Graveyard and you do have to pay 1000 Life Points in order to activate, but this cost does allow you to activate quite a few Skills.

Mirror Wall

CardRating
Mirror Wall
Mirror Wall
★ 2

Mirror Wall is still a decent Battle Trap, but it does have quite a lot of competition right now. Unlike Wall of Disruption, Mirror Wall can be activated during the Damage Step and it can be effective even if your opponent doesn’t have multiple monsters on the field.

Gozuki

CardRating
Gozuki
Gozuki
★ 2

Unless you want to build a Buster Blader Deck, Crimson Kingdom is not really a great BOX to open, but doing so would also be the only way you’d have to get your hands on this Level 4 Zombie-Type monster.

Sure, Samurai Skull can be enough when it comes to sending your Vampire Retainer and Vampire Familiar from the Deck to the Graveyard, but having a copy of Gozuki can only increase the consistency of your Vampire Deck.

D.D. Assailant

CardRating
D.D. Assailant
D.D. Assailant
★ 1

D.D. Assailant is currently played in Control decks because of its removal effect. It’s definitely not a card we would advise getting without the intention of building one, but we can’t ignore the fact that it is pretty relevant right now.

SR Dream Ticket

Wall of Disruption

CardRating
Wall of Disruption
Wall of Disruption
★ 4

Powerful and destructive Battle Trap that punishes swarming.

Treacherous Trap Hole

CardRating
Treacherous Trap Hole
Treacherous Trap Hole
★ 4

A great Trap Card that can destroy two monsters on the field and that can easily be played in almost any deck. Treacherous Trap Hole has been Semi-Limited.

Hey, Trunade!

CardRating
Hey, Trunade!
Hey, Trunade!
★ 4

Mass backrow removal that can fit in pretty much any deck and enable quick OTKs. Hey, Trunade! is currently Semi-Limited.

Dragon Spirit of White

CardRating
Dragon Spirit of White
Dragon Spirit of White
★ 3

If you still don’t have your third copy of this card because you understandably decided not to invest actual money in the game and purchase the second White Dragon of Legend Structure Deck, this is your chance. Blue-Eyes is still a relatively new deck compared to others that are currently around and it might even receive further support in the future.

Mask Change

CardRating
Mask Change
Mask Change
★ 2

Quick-Play Spell played in Masked HERO. Recently a few new HERO cards that have synergy with Mask Change have been added to the game. Mask Change has been recently reprinted.

Forbidden Chalice

CardRating
Forbidden Chalice
Forbidden Chalice
★ 2

Pretty versatile Quick-Play Spell that hasn’t seen too much play lately, but will likely stay relevant.

In Conclusion

It should go without saying that, if you already have, just to make an example, three copies of Mask Change and two copies of Masked HERO Anki, but you don’t want to dive back into Valiant Souls, you can get yourself the last card you need for you deck: these are just some suggestions and ideas to make your decision easier.

If you think Canadia suck I think the issue is you, not the card

I prefer Floodgates but yes Canadia is excellent because it allows you to do two things - cut something off instantly at a critical stage (eg equipping), buying you a turn in the process and also summon a creature from the graveyard to tribute on or do whatever else these crazy kids do with creatures nowadays.

Would it be better to get 3rd Canadia or 1st Mirror Force/Sphere

How did you get 3???
I had got only 1 yet

They gave away 2 last year. So there are total of 3 for veteran players

Why do they deserve thanks for allowing us to get one UR without having to spend 5000+ gems on an irrelevant box? The dream ticket wouldn't be such a big deal if URs and SRs from old boxes weren't so expensive to obtain in the first place and if doing so yielded more than just a bunch of irrelevant cards, which are problems they created in the first place.

I pick my 3th soul exchange :’v
<< Anonymous(Anonymous No. 2)
Anonymous Reply
Soul Exchange is for Tribute Summon, not Synchro Summon.

You don't even tribute the materials, you simply send them to the graveyard.
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
Soul exchange can also be used for ritual summon. Synchro could be possible too.
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
SOul exchange cannot be use for synchro summon as synchro doesn't count as "tribute". This site does not give accurate info on that and mislead many people's understanding on synchro summoning.

Synchro summon "send" material to grave, not "tribute".

well you can use it to tribute opp monster to keep yubel alive.

ahhh can someone help me?? can't decide between sphere kuriboh, gozuki and canadia.

sk for my yubel/phoenix deck
gozuki for the vamp deck i want to build
canadia for my amazoness deck

i have one of each card mentioned
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
If the same rule applies just like last UR dream ticket, then the 12th box (valiant) will be included as well
<< Anonymous
Frustration Reply
Regular Kuriboh works just as fine as Sphere Kuriboh in Yubel builds.

If you have one of each, two Canadias would serve you more use right now than two Gozukis since we're getting into Synchros.

hey trunade and wall of disruption both are in a mini box right ? so is it really a good idea to waste a dream ticket ?

i dont even have a real deck yet actually playing with the silent swordsman structure deck and thats it i have 7k gems. really wanna make a buster blader deck but its so expensive idk what to do.
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
isnt canadia and traps like wall of disruption good in almost every deck tho ?
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
Canadia is the best but WoD is falling out of meta because of the power creep. Battle traps that don't outright 🔥 something are too slow. And battle traps in general suck now.
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
Not towards you but, I hate it when people bring real meta advice to duel links players! I thought it was clear the meta are two different things across the spectrum of Yu gi oh

Is it a waste to spend SR dream ticket on toon dark magician girl?
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
...there's no "non-dream" ticket that can give you Toon DMG.
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
The Prismatic SR ticket can give Toon DMG, so it's likely the non-prismatic one can as well.
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
non-dream tickets don't give you toon dmg
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
...The fact prismatic Toon DMG exists at ALL proves you wrong on that.

Unless for whatever dumb reason you think all the anniversary tickets are Dream Tickets, and you're merely trying to say that things like Ranked tickets don't have it.

Do we get another Dream Ticket around Christmas?
