Pros

  • Cripples an enemy monster.
  • Steals an opponent’s monster.

Cons

  • Both effects involve leaving the field.
  • Opponents can remove their monster from the field to prevent you from stealing it.

Tips

  • You can send Old Entity Hastor to the graveyard by tributing, using as Synchro or Fusion material, or crashing into a stronger monster.

Removal

Use Old Entity Hastorr as cost for other card effects. Scrap Dragon can destroy Hastorr in your monster zone or Spell/Trap zone to trigger its effect. Double Cyclone and Release Restraint Wave can remove Hastorr from your Spell/Trap zone while also getting rid of the opponent's backrow.

Alien

Alien Ammonite with a level-3 Alien monster can be used to summon Old Entity Hastor. Use Cosmic Fortress Gol’gar to return an Old Entity Hastor in your Spell/Trap zone to the extra deck, taking control of your opponent’s monster and spread A-counters.
