  • Destroys 1 Spell/Trap card your opponent controls.
  • It is a Quick-Play spell, can be activated during your Opponent’s Main or Battle Phase.


  • Destroys 1 of your own Spell/Trap card as a cost.


  • The difference between this card and Parallel Twister is that, Parallel Twister may be able to destroy any card your opponent controls, but it is not a Quick-Play spell so the usage is limited to only your Main Phase. They both have pros and cons for different situations.
  • Very important to take note, both targeted Spell/Trap card from your field and your opponent’s Field can be chained in response to Double Cyclone’s activation, if they are able to be used during that moment.
  • This card destroys Spell/Cards but does not negate their effects should the cards were activated in response to this card.
  • It can be a good idea to use characters that has Field Spell skills, so that you may start with a Field Spell on your field, that can be used as a cost should the situation requires it.

Destroy own cards

Wild Tornado can destroy 1 face-up monster when it is being destroyed and sent to the Graveyard. You can equip Big Bang Shot to your opponent’s monster, and use Double Cyclone to destroy Big Bang Shot, and destroy 1 targeted opponent’s Spell/Trap, also banishing the monster equipped with your Big Bang Shot at the same time.

I love playing against AG. Just dont set any S/T and see your enemy dying with their Double Cyclone and Geartown on the field.

You're lucky... Or from low rank, because the AG players I play against are using Breaker or Galaxy Cyclone : more expansive and more efficient.

True,I'm legend 1 and I destroy with AG(not all the time tho...)but breaker and double cyclone are a god sent gift, especially of U have a second geartown to place down after destroying the first with double cyclone, popping a backrow as well,then breaker to pop another backrow,summon AGRG then go for the hit and pop the second geartown summoning another geartown,it too good!
Unfortunately it cant be used as a counter trap, the trap will still activate
I didn't think much of this card when I got it, but then I learned better. Obviously has it's place in AG decks but has many more uses.
Love that this card combos with red eyes spirit and storm. I get red eyes on the board while destroying one of their backrow
One of the best techs in the game, highly versatile and it came in valiant souls one of the best boxes, glad I built M hero back in the day !

Just a small note: you can chain this card with every spell/trap card you activate, being normal trap like wall of disruption or quick play spells like econ, cosmic cyclone, super rush, or why not, another double cyclone. If you do that you won't waste your backrow to destroy opponent's backrow. So this card becomes a SR dust tornado, destroying enemy's backrow for free
Protip : Use it with Noble Knight Equip spell

Also can counter cosmic cyclone since its a quick play
Protip: Chain double cyclone to another double cyclone and let them target each other. This move is called the quadruple cyclone that destroys 2 spell/trap(s). Take that MST.

Or chain it to Twister destroy one face-up one any S/T. It does also work with wall of D. Double cyclone is golden
Excellent for TILT decks. Formidable Combo: Tribute to the Doomed + Double Cyclone!!! First, activate TttD! Now, you are left wondering, what if I don't want to discard any? Worry not, choose Cyclone to discard! Upon activation (toggle it on or else you'll miss it!) it will prompt you to activate Cyclone as well because it's a Quick-Play spell! Oh no, I don't want to destroy any of my valuable backrows! Again, WORRY NOT! Remember, you already activated TttD, right? Choose it as the destroyed card, then proceed to watch your opponent's field removed of 1 monster card and 1 spell/trap WITHOUT you discarding an important hand nor destroying a crucial backrow! Just drawing the two cards in this combo means MINUS TWO for opponent's field! Very strong if activated early in game! (something that parallel twister can't pull off!)

No, you (for some reason, no idea why) cannot activate Quick-Play Spells from the Graveyard.

As for the combo mentioned above, has anyone tried to see if it really works that way?
Double cyclone won't activate after being set.

Because it's a Quick-Play Spell, which can't be activated the turn they're set.
