"Alien Ammonite" + 1 or more non-Tuner "Alien" monsters
Once per turn, you can select any number of face-up Spell or Trap Cards. Return those cards to their owners' hands, and distribute new A-Counters among monsters on the field equal to the number of cards returned. Once per turn, you can remove 2 A-Counters from anywhere on the field to destroy 1 card your opponent controls.

  • Good stats.
  • Returns face-up Spell/Trap cards to the hand.
  • Spreads A counters

  • Specific synchro materials.
  • Relies on A counters to destroy opponent’s cards.
  • Relies on face-up Spell/Trap cards to spread A counters.


  • Returning your own Spell/Trap cards to your hand allows you to reuse them if they have effects upon activation.
  • You can return Spell/Trap cards that boost your opponent’s attack to indirectly debuff them.


Alien Ammonite is a requirement to summon Cosmic Fortress Gol’gar. Luckily Alien Ammonite’s effect makes this easy by Special Summoning the non-Tuner monster you need to Synchro Summon. Special Summon a level-4 Alien with Alien Ammonite’s effect.

Spread A counters

Cosmic Fortress Gol’gar can only destroy your opponent’s cards if you have A-counters to spend so here are some cards you can use to Spread A-counters on the field.

Brainwashing Beam

You can return Brainwashing Beam to your hand to later reuse it. But this will return the opponent’s monster back to their side of the field.

I don't think so since Executor makes it untargettable.
As if Cyber Dragon wasn’t enough, this broken 🔥 also released. Complete with Dog and Code Ruins, filling the board with aliens and counters turn 1. The game is over,

I don't know why anyone would even complain about just cyber dragon and cyber twin dragon when it is really going to be all about the ugly aliens. As soon as I saw their rarity change, I knew it. In main boxes, the ugly things are always better now. Back to zero attack and cleared backrow turn 1 with aliens.

I know, it's really horrid and broken. I had to deal with a few tryhards using the new alien cards after its release... it's hell. Invokers are children's play compared to this abomination.
Does the first effect (spell and trap face up to the hand)target? I really hope it's a target effect, or else I have to hurry now for kog!

It targets the spells/traps.
The A-Counter placement does not target.
Does this targets red eyes equips or not?

They are treated as equip spells thus they can be returned

Yeah but Red Eyes can negate them since it's targetting, so it's a waste.
You're better off trying to overrun it with A-Counters (before it gets equip spells or using your own spells/traps with gol'gar as the placement does not target) and trying to power your way through it.

Or look for any other removal that does not target.
tiered deck
Not in vain people made it to kog very early with aliens + gol'gar. I think it's pretty much tiered.

Now do it off hours against actual strong decks and not sub par player with crap decks, it can't challenge the meta and go forbid you fight six, red-eyes, blue eyes or spellbooks with a strong start. Only very few have made it and took the easy road. Don't waste your gems.

It's very easy when you know when to play when the strong decks aren't playing otherwise aliens can't really compete. My tip is to play easy mode and play middle of the day while all the jap p2w sleep then you can get the cheap KoG but it's not much of an achievement.
Gol'gar + Ammonite in the SAME BOX.
Wow, I dunno... but it looks like a new META for me, maybe as good as Metaphys or maybe even more.

I pulled 2 ammonite and 0 of gol'gar... wtf, so I use 2 armades instead
Come on Komoney: This is not a SR, this is a UR and Ammonite is the SR. Why would I play multiple Gol'gars with only one Ammonite!

Would Mirror Wall work with this effect, avoid paying the 2000LP. Your opponent attack’s, you activate Mirror Wall, during end phase activate monster effect to return card & dispense counters. Also there tuner is coming in the next main box. Ancient Gears will have problems with this monster, return Gear Town & Ancient Gear Fortress
