It's weird, the game only seems to count this card as an "Alien" half the time. One time a monster with 7 A-counters fought it and lost no attack and another time it worked perfectly fine. There was nothing on the field that would have negated the counters (which I don't even think is possible).

Dog itself doesn't have the reduction effect, so there SHOULDN'T be a reduction if it's alone...

Just read the card perhaps?

Do you see "If a monster with an A-Counter battles an "Alien" monster, it loses 300 ATK and DEF for each A-Counter during damage calculation only"?

No? That's because he doesn't have the effect.

I wouldn't be surprised if we got the Alien stuff in the near future. Gol'gar is probably fine balance-wise right now, especially if we don't get Code A Ancient Ruins.
