Using the skill Reinforcements (from Aster), you are guaranteed to draw Destiny HERO - Plasma once you take 1800 damage.
Use your lower level monsters to defend/stall/deck-thinning until you can get compass and able use your skill.
Ideally, you will want to summon Plasma when Zane summons his fusion monster so that your plasma has high attack. But if you can't, then try to go for at least his Cyber Dragon but you will have to be careful of his Rare Metalmorph.
You will still need some protection even after you summon plasma, so be sure to set your defensive spell/trap cards.
If you have your final combo cards already in your hand, you can consider ending the duel before you get to 0 cards. This is if you run out of defensive spell/trap cards and are unsure if Zane can go over your Plasma.
On your last turn, tribute summon Cloudian - Nimbusman (if you haven't already) and equip him with Shooting Star Bow - Ceal to attack directly to win the game. You will need at least 20 Fog Counters on the field, including from itself, to be able to deal 10,000 damage after equipped with Ceal.
Use King of the Swamp depending on what you need. You can send it to the Graveyard to get Polymerization or use it as a Fusion Substitue. It's recommended to have more copies of this card and replace other Fusion Substitute monsters.
I never got a repair plant until the last days... I thought I wouldn't get them. SOOOO happy :).
Oh, and I never used a farm deck for this event. I just use a consistent deck to win most of the matches.
