Pros

  • The controller of this card will not take Battle Damage from battles with this card.
  • It can Special Summon Mirage Knight from your Hand or Deck.

Cons

  • Attack is low for a Fusion Monster. Defense is very low which makes it susceptible to attacks when switched to defense position.
  • It needs work to Fusion Summon this card, since it needs Flame Swordsman which is also a Fusion monster.
  • Mirage Knight can only be special summoned if this card is destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard.

Tips

Fusion Substitutes

Special Summon Dark Flare Knight

  • There are multiple ways to Special Summon Dark Flare Knight by using Cyber-Stein. One is to use cards that can gain you Life Points like Enchanted Javelin, Solemn Wishes or Aegis of Gaia until you have enough Life Points to pay the cost. Another way is when your Life Points reaches 1000 or below, you can use Tea's Skill Life Cost 0 which lets you to not spend Life Points when activating a card effect. And one more way is by using LP boost β/LP boost γ which adds 1500/2500 Life Points at the beginning of the match, but it reduces your starting hand by 1/2 cards.
  • Once Summoner of Illusions flips, you can tribute another monster in your field to Special Summon Dark Flare Knight from your Extra Deck. You can use Dimension Gate to prevent it from getting destroyed at your End Phase.
  • By using Temple of the Kings' effect, you can send Mystical Beast of Serket from your field along with it to the Graveyard to Special Summon Dark Flare Knight from your Extra Deck.

Destroy Dark Flare Knight

You can switch the attack target of your opponent to Dark Flare Knight by using Call of the Earthbound. When Dark Flare Knight got destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard, its effect will activate which lets you Special Summon Mirage Knight from your Hand or Deck.

I can't believe I actually spent multiple hours on this, but here you go:

Skill: Balance

Monsters:
Mirage Knight 2x
The Dark Hex-Sealed Fusion 3x
Dark Magician 3x

Spells:
The Eye of Timaeus 3x

Optional Spells:
Book of Moon 2x
Forbidden Lance 2x

Traps:
Magician's Navigation 3x

Optional Traps:
Bottomless Trap Hole 2x
Breakthrough Skill 2x
Fiendish Chain 2x
Paleozoic Canadia 2x
Karma Cut 2x
Ultimate Providence 2x

Extra Deck:
Dark Flare Knight 3x
Level 7 XYZ Monsters 4x (Optional)

Game Plan:
(Make Sure to have at least 6 monsters, spells, and traps or the skill won't work.)
Use Magician's Navigation to Summon DMs. (Use Magician's Navigation Graveyard Effect when it best suits you.) Use Eye of Timaeus and The Dark's effects to fusion summon 2 Dark Flare Knights (set and use Backrow Cards when necessary). Battle an enemy attack position monsters with higher ATK to bring out Mirage Knights. Battle 2 attack position monsters to deal 5600 dmg the turn they are summoned.

You're welcome fellow Masochists.

Thank you for posting a never tested deck. Obviously, skill "Balance" will not work in this deck build.
Even for a meme deck all I see is a brick festival that if doesn't open with navigation is an instant surrender.

Don't get me wrong, this deck SUCKS unless you have GOD TIER consistent luck. I made it to beat my opponent as soon as possible and decided not to factor in luck or else it will become a "Just summon DM" deck.
Also, you're not supposed to put in ALL THE 🔥ING TRAPS.

It is very strong like Dark World

I think that the main thing holding this card back from being a good alternate in a dm style dark pally deck is the fact that you need to slot in the mirage knight itself, if the mirage knight was summoned from outside the game, it would be way better imho

This. I still don't get why they made this card and Mirage Knight as weak as they are.

I don’t think Mirage Knight’s so bad. Every time he attacks you’re going to do 2800 damage to your opponents LP.
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
A 2800 damage that's once per duel, as Mirage Knight banishes itself at the End Phase, and with it being a Nomi, you can't special summon it back from the banished pile.

After all that effort to summon Mirage Knight, better hope you still can also end the duel on the same turn lol

And that's assuming Mirage Knight's attack isn't getting stopped lol.
Badger
It would be convenient if its effect activates while being destroyed by card effects. You have to force your opponent to attack it.
You can use The Dark Hex Sealed and Dark Magician to summon it w/o Polymerization.

can't reduce opponent's life point so useless.

You don't need Flame Swordsman, you can just use one of the fusion substitute monsters + Dark Magician.

If you have swordman you will only need fusion tag.

dark magician needs 2 tribute summon, this one can be fusioned, ofc this is for a fusion deck not standart dark magician vigilance
<< Anonymous

The only Fusion that isn't completely awful is Dark Paladin because it's the only one that has a usable effect.
GreenRanger
Just a card for farming I think?

They should release this card but make it so that you can only activate it once per week per acco...
Noah is in the game. But you have to unlock Atticus (GX) first before you can unlock him.
