i cant summon the buster blader, the dragon destroyer swordsman, is this becuase it says i need a dragon type monster, and the mystical sheep cannot be used in its place?

absolutely not. u can use 1 dragon and 1 fusion sub instead.

You can use with a dragon type to fusion summon but you can't use it with buster blader to summon destroyer swordsman....why?

i guess those fusion replacements only replace/copy the cards name not its type mabe not even the attribute...
lets say 2 cards need....
buster blader + dragon type = np fusion
buster blader + fairy dragon = fuison

Yes, fusion substitute cannot replace vague materials, they can only replace specifically named materials.

Tried using this with Destruction Swordsman Fusion to summon Buster Blader, the Dragon Destroyer Swordsman (required materials: Buster Blader + 1 Dragon Type Monster)- I'd noticed that using it as the dragon material didn't work so I assumed it worked as a specifically named monster. Then I tried fusing it with my opponent's Blue Eyes as per the effect of Destruction Swordsman (treating the Mystical Sheep as Buster Blader, as per its effect) but this didn't work either. What's up with that?

Here's the answer:

DS Fusion and RE Fusion have a new ruling implemented around the last few months of last year.

You no longer can use fusion substitute if the fusion spell itself specifically mention a monster's name.

as for your first case, fusion substitute NEVER worked for replacing non-specific material.

The fact one of them says you can't and another requires 2 Machines with the same name as materials might have something to do with it.

There's nothing stopping you using it for the remaining 2.

It's a substitute for any missing fusion monster. So you can use it with Brachio-raidus: this card and a two-headed king rex (Or this card and crawling dragon #2).

I would like to inform you that the page on Mystical Sheep #1 says that it is obtained as a rare pull from The Ultimate Rising pack, not as a level up reward from Joey Wheeler. Can you please correct it?
