Very useful to destroy a monster with high ATK that your opponent controls.
The effect continues unlike Reinforcements and Curse of Aging.

Cons

Weak to Twister since this card is continuous trap.
Note that this card does not decrease the ATK of a face-up attack position monster. That affects a monster that conducts an attack.

I think you want to ask about the interaction between Metalmorph and Mirror Wall (both affect your opponent's monster).

The answer may vary, depending on the time of activation.
Besides, if those 2 cards were activated in the same chain, remember the rule: the last card activated is the first to resolve.

Yeah I made a mistake there, I meant with metalmorph not mirror wall.

1. Mirror Wall is NOT an equip card, so your opponent can't be equipped with this card.
2. Mirror Wall doesn't say anything about gaining half of your monsters' ATK. Maybe you mistook it with Metalmorph.
3. If your opponent's 1500 ATK monster attacks, and you activate Mirror Wall, it's ATK will be halved.
1500-->750 ATK.

How does this card interact with mirror wall?

For example if my opponent has a 1500 attack monster equipped with this card and it battles my 3000 attack point monster will it reduce the monster's

Outside of mirror force and it's other counterparts, this card is also one of the best traps to combo it with battle mania so your opponent would be forced into attacking.

You know, in our current meta of every deck having 2 Walls of Disruption and a Treacherous Trap Hole, in retrospect, I'm starting to appreciate how basically fair and balanced Mirror Wall is.

It has an excellent effect, but the heavy cost forces you to think before keeping it on the field, and unlike WoD, which often guarantees a victory on the next turn, you opponent has a fair chance of coming back from it.
