Each of your opponent's monsters that conducted an attack while this card was face-up on the field has its ATK halved as long as this card remains on the field. During each of your Standby Phases, pay 2000 LP or destroy this card.
Today i played against an SD. I had
Machine Assembly Line and Geargiarsenal on the field (so it had 1900 ATK) and attacked directly. My opponent activated Mirror Wall and after this Half Shut...and my ATK dropped to 238. I am slightly confused. Any idea?
If It's Mako / Tea / Odion They Might Be Using It To Bring Their Health Down For OTK With Cyber Stein
My opponent used this against me and had 4000 LP. So (since I play the TCG) I decided to stall for 2 turns so he will die from Mirror Wall, because it is a multiple of 2000. However, to my surprise, after 2 turns it destroyed itself... but they could pay the cost. Why does this work differently in the TCG??
But they had 2000 LP before the Standby Phase? They can pay it, so they would lose (like for Imperial Order in TCG)
I sometimes hate the wording on cards .... just joined the game and didnt know it halves the attack BEFORE the dmg step ... Literally says AFTER it conducted the attack ... konami is even worse than blizzard at describing things fml -.-
Also, people finally realized it doesn't really stop attacks better than WoD.
I hope most ppl have relaized now that the majority of games you have lost has been to some trap or spell that changes your monsters battle position(econ) or change their attack(mirror wall). You havent even been losing to the monster or archtype thats what is so shitty about this game. Work hard to summon a fat monster and it just gets mirror walled or e con and most likely the defense is ass so yea stat changing traps and spells need to be limited
i use ninja deck sometimes. still waiting for other cards though. what do you mean? ninja deck requires many sacrifice for the effects.
I'm starting to appreciate this card better than wall of D. Wall of D. so much counters, it's almost useless because in higher competitive plays, peeps make sure the field is safe and the backrows subdues before they attack. Impatient ones are the only ones lured by Wall of D. Meanwhile, Mirror Wall being chain-able to most targeting and non-targeting effects, makes it much more versatile. There is no doubt that Wall of D. is more destructive though, in terms of raw destruction and tilt.
