Pros

It can increase the attack of a monster by 500.
The attack boost stays as long as this card is in the field.
You can activate this card at the damage step, even in your opponent's turn.
It can once negate a spell that tagets the monster affected by it.

Cons

It can only be used on Machine-Type monsters.
Can't be used immediately in your turn. You should set it first since it's a trap.
It can't negate a spell that doesn't target. E.g. Order to Charge.

Can't target Engineer with this, although, why would anyone run Engineer in the first place

Why masked of the cursed stayed on the field even if Rare metalmorph negated it? with burn deck it's so annoying that mask of cursed won't go away because it hogs backrow space!

no it doesnt. because if enemy uses srh, he targets his own monster not yours. i use srh very often and faced rare metalmorph sometimes, in the end rare metalmorph didnt prevent enemies monsters from beeing destroyed.

Can negate riryoku

Since when has this card been able to negate the effects of monsters, I used armored dragon lvl 5's effect to destroy an ancient gear beast and my opponent activated rare metal morph and negated the the effect no lighting went around the card to show that the effect had been negated either

What card did you discard? AG beast after equipped will have 2500 atk so it's lower than armed dragon

Rare Metalmorph Cancels the effect of a union monster alread equiped. Is that right or is it a bug?

Right. An equipped union monster is treated as a spell card.

Used 3k red keys all with 7-8000 points and I have yet to get this card. Such BS
