Pros

  • Flexible Fusion Summon materials.
  • ATK and DEF determined by the number of monsters used to Fusion Summon.
  • Can attack your opponent’s monsters, a number of times equal to the
number of monsters used to Fusion Summon.

Cons

  • Multiple attack effect only applicable to opponent’s monsters and not direct attack.
  • May have weak stats if less Fusion summon materials are being used.
  • Sends all other cards you control, from the Field to the Graveyard, upon Fusion Summoning

Tips

  • Bear in mind that Cybernetic Fusion Support is not a substitute for Polymerization, it does not perform Fusion summoning, it only allows additional flexibility when you perform Fusion summon.
  • If you have multiple machine-type monsters in your graveyard, and/or hand, you can greatly augment Chimeratech Overdragon’s ATK and DEF stats to overpower your opponents’ monsters, by using Cybernetic Fusion Support. This is a permanent effect.
  • You can make use of its effect of sending cards you control to the Graveyard, by using tech cards like Wild Tornado, to destroy 1 face-up monster your opponent controls.

Fusion Summoning

These Fusion Spells are able to make Chimeratech Overdragon with materials outside of your hand and field making the process more cost efficient. They also form somewhat cycle by fueling each other, which lets you summon another Chimeratech Overdragon when one is destroyed. Future Fusion sends monsters from deck to graveyard, Overload Fusion banishes monsters from your graveyard, Cyberload Fusion returns banished monsters to the deck.

Equip Cards

Break! Draw! is amazing when equipped to a monster that can attack multiple times, giving you lots of draw power before it destroys itself. Big Bang Shot and similar cards so Chimeratech Overdragon can deal damage while attacking defense position monsters.

Half Shut

Make your opponent’s monster immune to battle destruction while halving its attack. This will allow Chimeratech Overdragon to continually deal damage to your opponent through that monster. This can also help you trigger the skill Fatal Five for a win condition.

One of the actual broken anime cards, limit fusion gate

This 🔥 can attack over pretty much anything

It was a lot more broken in the anime because it could actually attack directly. I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that it also did not have to send everything on your field to the graveyard.

I mainly remember because in the anime, the first time we saw this card was against 🔥 Dog, who got his LP to 15,000 and Zane bludgeoned him with a 4,800 ATK Overdragon that could attack 6 times.

Fun fact: If you Floodgate him, his stats become 0.

Ofc, his original atk/def is 0.

If you Curse of Anubis him too

If you Judgement of Anubis him, you will inflict his ATK damage to the opponent, a 0

Would Chimeratech Overdragon be destroyed by its own effect when summoned to an extra monster zone?
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
Well, first answer this, do you understand the meaning of the word "OTHER" in this card's text?
Anonymous
I tried playing around this card on tagforce arc-v special, limiter removal made this card into 120k atk beater. Yes, 120k atk.
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
So yeah, 120k ATK is perfectly doable back then.

It's just not possible anymore since Limiter Removal gets Limited, even more now that there's an errata nerf to Future Fusion.

Tag Force Arc-V Special, the OP clearly mentioned it.....

Whenever I use Cybernetic Fusion Support to some Chimeratech Overdragon, for some reason I can only use 3 of the many machine type monsters in my graveyard and on the field.
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
I get the problem. First two you need to select, and then from the third on you have to click all the cards you want to add as well. Clicking on confirm instantly summons it
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
First, you need to select the required materials in this order:
· 1 Cyber Dragon (required) - Confirm
· 1 machine type monster (required) - Confirm

Then, the optional part:
· Select as many of your machine type monster as you wish (optional quantity)

Errata corrige.

Absolutely not!
No way for Wild Tornado trap to take advantage of the Chimeratech OD's effect in order to destroy 1 face-up card your opponent controls; Chimeratech SENDS (not DESTROYS) cards to GY.

fun fact : you win the duel if a monster you control atacks 5 times in 1 turn, chimeratech effect only allow its to attack multiple times on monster, duel link only 3 monster zone, so if your opponent don't special summon 2 more monster in battle phase, you will never able to use Fatal Five lol

they want you to use impenetrable/halfshut on your opponent monster

I saw a street replay where someone used Last Gamble to get this card out. Then, he attacked twice with the dragon at 6400 attack (I think) after using Anti-Magic Arrows and won right there. The replay got over 800 stars/likes. It was pretty cool.

feels better to see o atk relinquished
