Can someone help me out. I think i found a potential deck, but need few other cards and tactics.

So what i think it got a potential is deck that
includes:
3 aegis of gaia (N/continues trap/recovers 3000 when used and loses 3000 when destroyed)
2 exchange cards (R/normal spell/exchange a card)
2 twisters or dust tornadoes
And most importantly.
1+ Bad reaction to simochi (SR/continues trap/ opponent loses LP when they tries to gain LP)
Yami yugi destiny draw skill.

A small test condicted with lv 20 tea (because i added random cards to reach 20 cards)

I used exchange when i had no monsters in my hand, and she took aegis of gaia (i used exchange when i had my bad reaction to simochy prepared)

When tea usesd my trap and tried to increase her life, i used my bad reaction which caused her to lose 3000 LP, then used twister to destroy her stolen aegis which caused her to lose yet another 3000 which totals 6000 on the end giving me the win.

Need some skilled duelist to give some ideas if you think it got potential too.

Good Strategy one! I will try this also. One issue is I don't know if the AI will always take the Aegis of Gaia when you exchange cards. You need to try when you hand have different cards. If you ask for my suggestion, I think using Tea's skill, the Surprise Present, is easier and more convenient. This way you don't need the Exchange. You may give it a try.

If you want to destroy the Aegis of Gaia, you can use Remove Trap. It's better than twister because you don't need to pay your LPs.

I am having extremely good luck with this optimized lv40 deck. If you don't have union attack use piranha army and gift of the martyr. I really hope this helps. Let me know if you have any questions

Unlucky at All
I have farmed Joey since the 1st day of the event and got nothing but the R fusion monster. Now, I have just tried to farm lvl 40 of him but lost, however, I got this SR card!! In fact, getting SR cards from losing is something really annoying! Konami should enhance the drop rate so that at least 1 SR/UR card gets dropped almost every 3 duels!

You can go to the gate anytime you want to get it. Should not put this card in the event...

Super joey is so broken, if starting hand is just not decent, you are dead.

To be honest i dont want events like this anymore, random spawns, annoying broken cards, terrible drops... Now i understand why konami did not dare to post a survey for yugi event... simply 🔥.

I was just thinking the same thing! I'm actually a fan of a couple of the available cards but that's not gonna do me a damn bit of good if I can't get any of them. I love that Joey isn't easy, I do like a challenge, but on that note he should be spawning at least every hour, not every 4.

This is the deck I'm using, as I don't have any cards from Valkyrie's Rage. It has decent consistency, but you will need 800 points of glossy to ensure 7k each time, as he can have Spiritual Wind Art to screw up the no cards left bonus. Alternatively, you could try squeezing Double Summon in, and tribute for Big Koala.

why he is not re-spawning ? It has already been 6 hours since the last re-spawn. Has anyone experienced this before? And BTW, I am not using joey as my character.
