Pros

Banishing a monster will prevent some monsters with effects that activate when sent to the graveyard.
Will most likely force your opponent to use their defensive cards.

Cons

1 tribute to summon.
Needs to destroy opponent's monster to banish it.
There are many defensive cards in the game, making it difficult to properly land an attack, and with only 1800 defense, it might not survive for a long time.

Tips

Amarylease can be used to normal summon Ishzark without needing to tribute a monster.

Cards weak against Ishzark

Some monsters are often used in PvP, mainly to search for other cards in their deck. Preventing their abilities will prevent them from getting a card advantage and making plays.

Blue Dragon Summoner

Somewhat often used since it can search different monster types. Banishing this card is a priority if you see it on the field.

Gravekeeper's Recruiter

Used quite often in a gravekeeper deck, recruiter can be brought back numberous times because of Gravekeeper's Chief's ability or its own effect. Banishing and preventing its activation will make a huge impact against gravekeeper decks.

Yeah, Joey used this card in the manga, but it was a vanilla in the manga.

If only it has its effect, Keith's Motor Shell wouldn't have been able to have its effect activated.

Very much enjoying this monster in a Joey warrior deck, especially against REBD + Kidmono decks, pair it up with a trap counter deck and this is beast.

The cons description is funny. How is 1 tribute a con? The second and third con pts are not too valid too, coz most of the cards share the same pts.

How is it not a con? it requires 1 tribute to get out which is slow and If they have a Champions vigilance or Yomi ship its entirely a 2 for 1 trade which could cost you the game.

Needing to destroy is a downside due to mirror wall or something that could keep that monster you need to banish on the field for an extra turn which could end up with your ishzark dead. (1)

3rd point how is that not a con? it has low defense for a tribute monster, with the Econ and windstorm in almost every deck, it makes it very open to attacks from any monster that can reach 1800+ which is very easy now that we have L4 monsters that reach 2k with a Field spell.

just because a con is shared by most cards doesn't mean it isn't a con.

You're underestimating the effect, my lad. Yomi ship doesn't do anything against this guy, because it's not sent to the graveyard. Also, it stops any graveyard effect (most searchers). It's a really nice card. I agree that the stats ain't great, but still, great card in bluff trap decks!

DD Warrior's effect is not graveyard effect. It will activate regardless.

can confirm the synergy with zeta, if you can discard a zeta (say with cost down) then every card banished gives you a token, which could be used for further summons. 2 zeta's in graveyard means a chain of 2 units for each single banish.
