Reduces the tributes to summon a high-leveled monster by 1.
Must be in the graveyard to activate effect.
Banishes itself from the graveyard.
Sylvan decks would preferably use Rose Lover as a way to special summon their high-leveled monsters. But with both Rose Lover and Marshalleaf added to the semi-limited list, Amarylease might be the closest substitute for Rose Lover.
Sylvans are really good at sending Plant-type monsters to the graveyard by excavating them. Excavating Amarylease could help you bring out your stronger Sylvan monsters by reducing their tribute. Most of the time this would be done to summon Guardioak/Lotuswain for no cost and then use his effect to excavate cards hoping to send another Amarylease to the graveyard.
You can send an Amarylease stuck in your hand to the graveyard and special summon World Carrotweight Champion from your graveyard. You can then use World Carrotweight in combination with Amarylease's graveyard effect to tribute into a 2 tribute monster.
Activates from your Graveyard
Banishes itself from Graveyard for cost

"This card doesn't do special summon like rose lover, it only does NORMAL summon *5/*6 monster, so no multiple big beater pop out out of nowhere."
No shit sherlock. It's a weaker form of rose lover, It's not meant to be as powerful. so what's your point?
Would use it... if i didnt have to go through one of the worst boxes in the game to get it...
Sometimes three roselovers (or amarylease) just leads to me bricking if I don't have the big monsters in hand, so sometimes jasmine is safer for bergamot if I can get her summon effect going fast or play it risky, leave jasmine faceup and draw with the garden and hope I get something good.
