Since tribute summoning can be pretty slow, you can use Rose Lover effect to special summon Hermitree from your hand to your field, making him immune to traps for a turn. Rose Lover can be easily sent to the graveyard if you use Sylvan monsters to excavate and send to grave, or use World Carrotweight Champion's effect.
Komushroomo is really good for excavating and activating other Sylvan monsters' effects since you can excavate up to 5 cards. This can potentially send a Rose Lover, or some Komushroomo and some Marshalleafs to destroy your opponent's monster(s) and/or spells and traps. Alternatively, you can use Magical Merchant, but might not be effective if you have some spells and traps in your deck.
