Pros

  • Banishing a monster will prevent some monsters with effects that activate when sent to the graveyard.
  • Will most likely force your opponent to use their defensive cards.

Cons

  • 1 tribute to summon.
  • Needs to destroy opponent's monster to banish it.
  • There are many defensive cards in the game, making it difficult to properly land an attack, and with only 1800 defense, it might not survive for a long time.

Tips

  • Amarylease can be used to normal summon Ishzark without needing to tribute a monster.

Cards weak against Ishzark

Some monsters are often used in PvP, mainly to search for other cards in their deck. Preventing their abilities will prevent them from getting a card advantage and making plays.

Somewhat often used since it can search different monster types. Banishing this card is a priority if you see it on the field.

Used quite often in a gravekeeper deck, recruiter can be brought back numberous times because of Gravekeeper's Chief's ability or its own effect. Banishing and preventing its activation will make a huge impact against gravekeeper decks.

I'm using this card in a light deck, with card breaker as an easy summon condition and shine palace and grateful dice as attack steroids. Pretty good

Not even close. DD Warrior banishes the other monster even if it has higher attack. This one however, is more of an anti-gravekeepers card, since they can't revive themselves when destroyed. Besides that I don't think it will have any other practical use in most decks.

There are a lot of "effect" mobs used in the main decks, it's not just good vs gk, but for those who call a mob when send to the graveyard, or pumpkin princess who goes to the spell/trap zone

Both require a card to be sent to the Graveyard, so Yomi Ship can't activate since it never hits the grave and Michizure can't activate because nothing hit the grave to trigger it.

What about soul absorbption? Banish monsters and gain 500 LP back everytime.
