Event is pretty garbage. Joey barely ever spawns and if he does he's lv30 and drops even more garbage that I don't need.

For me he spawn quite fast. Mostly lvl 40. But SR drop rate is awful. He haven't given me any SR card but only garbage card

Same man, i dueled joey lv.40 4 times in a row because i logged off quite a while, i always got 8k assessment, but he didn't gave me any single SR card yet, yeah he only gave me garbage cards and useless stone.

i tried putting mirage dragons to stop trap card activation and tornado and orbs so that if he destroys it automatically you can 🔥 the dragon he summon

Surprise Present works well, and I use some card which have draw ability and some Hane-Hane or Gale Lizard to bring his dragon back to his hand.

I tried a lot of decks that are shared here, but none of them is consistence.
Unlucky at All
Till now, I farmed Joey about 10 times ( between 4-6k assessment each duel) and didn't get any SR card, only the rare " Gilta The D. Knight"! Either there is a problem with the drop rate, or my luck is very very bad! Anyone else just like me?
The same thing happened during Muto's event!

Nope, i got at least one copy of all SR cards. Try to use Joey's Luck on Your Side skill, it will raise your luck. xD

Exactly the same here! At least, a single SR card should be dropped every two or three duels! Till now, I have dueled Joey 40 about 6 times, and nothing but rubbish got dropped!

Twister can only destroy the "Kunai with Chain" but doesn't negate its effect that change an attacking monster's battle position. What do you mean it can 🔥 it theoretically?

AI getting smarter...? What the hell... He sometimes didn't fill up his trap/spell zone.... Straight flush become null... Then he either use kunai or spiritual wind to counter piranha boosted with 10k dmg.. yes I can counter kunai with trap jammer..
Spiritual wind in other hand.. if I lock a wind monster with unhappy... Well he send my piranha back HOME (._.)...

Worst. Event. Ever.

Joey only appears every 3+ hours for me and when he does he always starts with the Miyabi card.

Other people say he appears very frequently so why won't they make the spawn rate equal for everyone? Why is it such a taboo for Konami to give everyone equal opportunity to challenge?

How fun is it to only be able to play one game every 3~4 hours?

Sometimes you have to force the game to load itself. If you aren't seeing him for a while: comment something in the chat, enter in 1 or 2 random duels (can be with standards); then when the duel ends see if your comment was computed in the chat, if it was then your game is indeed updated.
And the biggest hint of all: RESTART THE APP FROM TIME TO TIME

Other than commenting in the chat room, I have been doing all other things you mentioned already since I start playing this game. I have tried the chat room but It did't make a difference for me.

Come to think about it. This has got to be the first game I ever played in which you have to be "Lucky" to just play. I am sure the lucky ones are having a lot of fun. Not me though.

Hopper does Not work, he always attacks, also if he cannot 🔥 me with that attack. Whats wrong?

This deck has a 4/4 win rate so far. The duel assessment just isn't high enough. Maybe the addition of a few prismatic cards etc will do the trick.
It's an unhappy girl - piranha combo version. The goal of this setup is to use storm in the last turn to flush out the miyabi's as well as the kunai and to use double summon for your serket BEUD and Piranha army with secret pass to the treasures.

Feel free to optimize.

I can't special summon BEUD, cause the effect of the temple of kings with mystical beast of serket doesn't let me activate it and I'm not sure why....
