Event Details

Period	Jul 13- Jul 23

How to Play

1. Set a Defending Deck! Defender Decks will Auto Duel with other challenging Duelists.
2.Select a Duelist from the event map to challenge their Defender Deck! The Reload Button can be pressed at regular intervals in order to change the Duelists that have appeared. When other Duelists' Defender Decks cannot be found, Standard Duelists will appear instead.
3. Obtain Event Points and Island Coins through Event Duels.
4. Obtain Rewards with Event Points!
5. Save up Island Coins to use in the Lottery!

Friends

Duelist on your Friends list may appear on the Event Map
Dueling friends does not require Stamina, so be sure to Duel them when they appear.

Island Trespassers & Intruder [Trespassers Lvl 50 Added!]

An Island Intruder may sometimes appear. Duel it to gain lots of Event Points and Island Coins!

Attacking Deck

Your attacking deck will be the deck and character currently active at Duel World.
You can change your attacking deck anytime by changing your active duelist and deck.
Near the upper right side of the screen you will see a refresh button. Click it to switch the duelists currently in your event map if you are not satisfied with the point rewards or want easier opponents.
You can only refresh every 60 seconds.
It is recommended to avoid duelists using a Fur Hire deck as they are difficult to defeat with Auto-Duel. Refresh duelists if necessary.

Defending Deck

Your deck that will duel against attacking Duelists.
You can only have one Defending Deck set at a time, but it can be changed at any time during the Event.
A Defending Deck will Auto Duel with any Duelist that comes looking for a challenge, but it cannot use skills.
When a Defending Deck succeeds in fighting off an attacking Duelist, you will earn Event Points and Island Coins, so be sure to make it as strong as possible!

Challenging Other Duelists to Duels will reduce your Stamina by 1.
1 Stamina will be restored every 30 minutes, but no Stamina will be restored if your Stamina is at 5.
you can fully restore your Stamina with a Stamina potion.
Stamina Potions can be obtained through Daily Bonuses, Event Missions, and other means.
Dueling friends does not require Stamina, so be sure to Duel them when they appear.

If you duel your friend at Duelist Island: Gladiator, it will not cost any potion. IT'S FREE TO DUEL FRIENDS. You will know they are a friend because they have a gold border instead of the normal blue.

I like the idea that you don't have to grind items 40+ to duel someone... But I hate how low the reward numbers are. Is getting to 1,000,000 even possible?

6 hours since event started and I have accumulated 85,000. If you can make like 100,000 a day, with some stamina potion boost here and there. You can make it.

I made 80,100 in 1 hour, losing 4 duels, and wining 11.. used 2 potion, and i have another, and didn't played ranked for another yet..
26k in 2.5 hours without potion?

If avg. Point for winning is 7k you need 143 wins to reach 1M points. Wearisome event indeed.

Kind of sad they waited this long to give us Phantom Beast. They really should have been released within the first few months of the game's release. But I'm glad they are at Least here now.

And they gave them in a random gladiator beast themed event, did they just find an old sticky note under the water cooler one day that reminded them that they were supposed to add phantom beasts months ago or something?

the idea is kinda fun. However every defender deck should have random chance to be played, and better performing decks should give more points. Higher earning player decks isn't really meaningfull, it also keeps F2P players away.

That's already the case. Defending decks gain more points for time they beat your opponent.

And Premium players will still have the easiest time with the event.

This event has really well presented how there is zero variety within pvp nowadays. I quite like the event.

Event summery - 5 duels, low stamina recovery, low coins + lottery, and low chance to get potions for stamina recovery.

Deck duels - High points for good decks High points = coins. High decks after two days = top PVP decks because let's face it that's all it will be for the most part.

How the event ends?

Low success for most. Low to no pay out for most. Lots of new cards for those on top and little rewards for those who didn't beat top PVP decks.

Expected result of this event?

3/10 with some hope of neat gimmick decks, but ultimately ending with lots of sore feelings.

Tag Duel was lovely and brought interest or hope of more in the future with possible PVP or players vs AI combo.

Board game battle city brought coins and even the pain in the rear 'Duelist X is coming closer' at least brought a higher chance result to get some of the good cards than this.

Best bet you'll get bogged down with junk cards and banging your head after dumping what few coins you win while the jerks will set their defense decks to stomp most people...

Leaving the only PVP wallet belt slaps in the 'high point' slots while the rest of the decks are knocked down from 50-60 coin wins to a mere 20-30.

Play the event now before your unable to play it as it progresses because soon you won't even be winning those coins anymore.

Your comment too long so I didn't bothered to real all of them. But overall speaking I do feel the merit of being able to test your decks against some of the top decks and fine tune them. You can roughly guessed what deck you playing against.

I find this event with mixed results. On one hand it's a PVE event with PVP mix in it and seeing how well your deck can defend with auto duel is kind of neat.

Let's also face it as some skills really lack power without a player behind it.

The down side is of course the duels in some respects. I mean it's nice they don't have the Vagabond cheat in them, but 5 duels for lottery coins is kind of a mixed bag since this lottery isn't as easy to gather coins as the previous events.

I find this event interesting and some of the event rewards are neat with the chance to look at how some other players have made their decks for this event.

I'm just not sure how 'effective' this event will be over all especially when you are trying to get some of these event rewards.

On a side note I'm happy that you can JUST DUEL instead of trying to mix together the best farm deck for going a regular victory just because you need to play a Black Magican or nearly deck out just to earn those few extra coins.

Hopefully this event will surprise me as I have yet to see how effective the 'defend deck' goes and how that would reward the player who made it.

P.S. If skills could be used I might have thrown Gate Guardian with 500 LP just to mess with people.

Man this event is bad, the stamina system, the slow stamina recovery rate, the inability to obtain more potions to refresh stamina, the point goals and the lottery system all make for a disastrous result.

Also forgot to mention the low amount of coins earned per match. It's really a hotpot of terrible ideas mixed with each other.

Really hard to get points and coins.
The biggest problem is the low and slow stamina level.
