Tips
Being able to recycle Gladiator Beast monsters puts you in an advantageous position, especially if you are able retrieve monsters like Murmillo or Beastiari which are easily destroyed by your opponent due to their nature of destroying face-up monsters and Spell/Traps respectively.
After this card was Special Summoned to the Field during the end of your Battle Phase, since it is able to recover 1 Gladiator Beast card to your Hand, you may be in the position to set up for contact Fusion during your next Main Phase.
Gladiator Beast
All of the listed Gladiator Beast monsters can be added to your Hand (in the case of Heraklinos, Nerokius and Essedarii, it is returned to your Extra Deck) by this monster’s effect.
Although not used often, these Gladiator Beast Spell / Trap cards can also be returned from the Graveyard to your Hand via Gladiator Beast Equeste’s effect.
These cards are the essentials in a Gladiator Beast deck as they are able to protect your Gladiator Beasts from being destroyed by battle after it was being attacked, or you attacked using them.
