Tips

Due to this card not being able to Special Summon other Gladiator Beast monsters, and it cannot be used as Fusion material for contact Fusion, it has a huge disadvantage and will not see much use.

The only good usage this card has is through the effect of GB Augustus (which, giving in your deck is questionable deck space in the first place though it does have some usage so I won't criticize its usefulness)

That being said, it's rare that you will have both a GB card and Tygerius in your hand and be in dire need of a specific GB monster to be added to your hand. Keep in mind the fact that Duel Links only has 3 monster zones, meaning you can't get out any of the 3 card contact fusion bosses. Now thay Hop and Spartacus are in the game though, along with lanista, you can at least get Gaiodiaz. Regardless, you will frequently be wanting to use Murmillos effect on Tygerius a lot... which you can't really afford

Now Augustus may see more use thanks to Andabata so maybe this can be used.

can tygergius be used as fusion material if its special summoned from the graveyard by darius's effect?(since its effect is negated this way)

That part is a Condition that cannot be negated, so Tygerius would still be unable to be used as fusion material.

It doesn't have good synergy with any GB, period. No sane GB player ever use even a single copy.

It's such a trash that back when this card first appeared in OCG, people literally called it as a waste of trees.

you can exchange high level gladiator beasts when it isn't worth tribute summoning. e.g. Augustus
