Can also destroy your own face-up monster if your opponent does not control any face-up monsters.

Tips

Although not as versatile as Man-Eater Bug, this monster still serves as a generic monster removal tech in WATER decks.

Water Support

Besides destroying your opponent’s face-up monster, if this card is still on the Field, it also serves as a setup to Special Summon Citadel Whale.

Fun fact: The translation from Japanese to English wasn't correct. This card's name should have been Snow Man-Eater instead of Snowman Eater.

What the 🔥, I played against 40 lvl Mai and she attacked my facedown snowman eater with amazoness chain master that was special summoned with the effect of my dynatherium - he flips, she receives 400 damage and then I DON'T get to pop a card, she just ends her turn like that's normal. What the 🔥!?

Does snowman eater's effect only activate if the player flips it?

Disregard my previous comment, Sangan was killed prior to flipping snowman, and after that I added snowman eater to my hand. That's why snowman didn't activate.

Only target face-up ones, but still overall better than Man-Eater Bug, since Set monsters are rare unless your opponent still plays Sylvan or is running this thing as well.

I couldnt chain Mask Change with its effect. WTF? Does it work like OtC?

Depends on when it activates, if it was flipped face-up because of an attack, then the effect activates during Damage Step, so of course you can't use Mask Change, you can't summon a monster during Damage Step.

I remember this card being used a lot in 2010 with e-heros for absolute zero.

Should have banned this card instead of Fur Hires. Fur Hires don't stand a chance against the invincible Beaver Warrior.
