Wiz, Sage Fur Hire

Wiz, Sage Fur Hire
TypeSpellcaster, Effect

If this card is Special Summoned: You can gain 500 LP for each monster "Fur Hire" you control with a different name, except "Wiz, Sage Fur Hire". When your opponent activates a Spell/Trap Card or effect (Quick Effect): You can discard 1 card "Fur Hire"; negate the activation. You can only use each effect of "Wiz, Sage Fur Hire" once per turn.

How to Get

PackClash of Wings [R]
Level-up reward--

  • Can heal 500 LP per “Fur Hire” monster you control, when you Special Summon this monster.
  • Can negate your opponent’s Spell/Trap or effects by discarding a “Fur Hire” card, once during either players’ turn.

  • You can only each of its effects, once per turn.

  • Since you can only use its negation effect once per turn, so carefully negate your opponent’s key cards, example Mask Change, Spellbook of Fate, which would greatly disrupt your opponent’s strategy and engine.
  • You can consider using Spikeshield of Chains as protection option as well as damage your opponents should they attempt to attack with a higher ATK monster.

Fur Hire Archetype

Seal is able to Special summon any of the listed Fur Hire Archetype monsters from your Hand. If you choose to Special Summon Donpa, Recon or Beat, their individual effects also allows you to Special Summon another “Fur Hire” monster from your Hand (except themselves), effectively swarming your Field in 1 turn. If you Special Summon Dyna or Wiz, you will be able to trigger their effects, for Dyna when it is Special Summoned, you can banish a number of cards in your opponent’s Graveyard equivalent to the number of “Fur Hire” monsters you control with different names. Dyna also effectively protects all your other “Fur Hire” monsters as your opponent can only select Dyna as attack target. As for Wiz, you gain 500 LP for each “Fur Hire” monsters you control, when it was Special Summoned. Besides having an overwhelming defense stat, Wiz can negate your opponent’s Spell/Trap or effect once during either player’s turn, by discarding a “Fur Hire” card from your Hand.

Fur Hire Support

Mayhem Fur Hire allows you to Special Summon 1 “Fur Hire” monster from your Graveyard to the Field in Defense position. Training Fur Hire, Fur All Your Training Needs allows you to Special Summon another “Fur Hire” monster from your Deck, with 1 level lower than the “Fur Hire” monster destroyed by battle or card effect.

Wiz only negate Spell/Trap activation & effect, and only once per turn.

She doesn't negate monster effect.
Anonymous 28days ago
Trust me, this card is the one that will make fur hire tier 1

See? I was right. If fur hire doesn't have wiz they wouldn't be a top tier deck like now.

it's a staple, but 17days ago Reply
I find myself special summoning Dyna more for his amazing banish effect, I also win faster forcing Dyna out turn one unless it's masked heroes, then I would summon Wiz as first priority

You can’t negate her effect with forbidden chalice???
<< Anonymous
Anonymous 18days ago Reply
You can, but she can also negate your chalice with her effect.
Anonymous 18days ago

How is it useless.

It can stop spells, traps or their effects.

Its among the best monsters in the game.

Dont be clueless.

Can Divine Wrath negate this? Or Divine Wrath will get negated instead?
<< Anonymous
Anonymous 28days ago Reply
Divine wrath can negate this but this cannot negate divine wrath. Only counter traps can be activated in response to another counter trap.
<< Anonymous
Anonymous 25days ago Reply
They will negate each other.

Good luck negating a counter trap with a monster effect lmao

Aquablast 25days ago Reply
Just to kill the confusion, counter traps have the highest "spell speed", so after a counter trap is activated, only counter traps can be played.

So yes, Divine Wrath can negate this, and Wiz can't do anything about it. In fact Wiz can't negate any counter traps at all.
