Hirokimura | LP Boost α | July 10 |
A comment from Hirokimura
How to use : Triamids are a bit tricky but they work well. LP Boost is Mandatory since you'll have to setup your plays before making good boards. Opening a cruiser along with a hunter makes you start at 6000 LP which is enough to counter some powerful offensives such as Ancient Gears, Blue Eyes, or Samurais without being OTK'ed.
Tech cards : Amano Iwato. This monster will wreck an entire turn from your opponent. It helps running over annoying opponents such as subterror and six samurai, preventing them to disrupt your turn with their monster effects. It can have a nice ATK with Kingolem. 2400 ATK is neat.
Enemy controler is another staple in the deck, simply because while Kingolem is on the field, when a triamid monster battles, your opponent cant activate anything. So if you attack with a triamid while kingolem is on the field, you can use enemy controler in that attack, tribute another monster (it doesnt work if you tribute the battling monster) to take a Shi-En, or a Blue-Eyes spirit dragon without letting your opponent answer. It's a powerful move that will help you break through the most powerful boards in the meta.

Small notes here: Used Triamids to hit my 2nd KOG ever! I didn't even use a skill because I was trying to get new skills for Trudge. So yeah, use any skill you want, like The Tie That Binds. Big brain helps with this deck.

A comment from Luizinho7:
This deck is very fun and consistent, mostly because several people don't really know how it works. Canadia and Floodgate are powerful since you can use Triamid Master to destroy set cards. Balance skill fits well because your starting hand always has 1 monster, 1 field and 1 defense, which is an interesting combo to reach the duel victory. Extra deck is just to bait.

A comment from Ultima:
Skill "No Mortal Can Resist" + 2 Cosmic Cyclone's is the best combo for Vampire's in any time.

Almond | Labyrinth Builder | July 15 |
A comment from Almond:
Reached the KOG rank for the 4th month in a row with the same build posted on the kc cup of april, 1st stage. The only card added to the extra is the thought ruler archfiend, but it has not seen as much use as i expected since the card is useful against some enemy controller/world clash but too much situational.
Obviously the deck revolves around Epsilon, the main equips you want to be safer are vylon segment for protection and power of the guardians/mage power to boost the stats, it has became necessary since you will likely meet a 2500+ beater on first turn. Most of times Epsilon will be the only monster who will sit on your field whom you conduct your attacks with, therefore it can make you subsceptible to the econ take play or share the pain which has seen some use, but on the other hand makes you safe from a lava golem.
I would suggest to make a 22 cards build (6 tuner = 1/4 starting hand is a tuner) with two extra lv5 non tuner, so in case you will lose the first Epsilon may get the chance to summon the 2nd one, or even together with a double destruction effect per turn. The gamestyle is to have dominant board with frequent OTK therefore to try end the duel soon. You might find difficult to give OTK to decks as subterror or red eyes that easily flood the field with multiple monster, in these matchups sometimes the piercing damage via vylon component altogether with an attack boost are the MVP. The deck is fun, but much depends whether you start first or second, absolutely devastating against the subterrors, might have troubles against the newly introduced aliens / mermaids but not meet any of those so far.
